I strongly advise others to think twice before ordering from Digital Generation.
I placed an order for a laptop on 12 February 2026 for a student who urgently needs it for exams. At the time of purchase, the website clearly indicated 2–3 working days delivery.
On the third day, when the order status still showed “Picking”, I called to follow up — only to be informed that there was no stock available. I was told new stock would arrive within two days and that my order would be fulfilled then.
After waiting the additional two days with no update or delivery, I called again. This time I was told I would need to wait until the end of February because stock had been allocated to other customers.
I called again today, 2 March 2026, and was once again told there is still no stock available. At this point, nearly three weeks later, I requested a refund because the laptop is urgently needed for a student writing exams this Thursday.
I was told I must email my refund request and that it would be responded to “instantly” due to the urgency. It has now been six hours without even an acknowledgement of my email — and no apology for the inconvenience caused.
This experience has been extremely disappointing: • Misleading delivery timelines • Selling stock that was not available • Repeated broken promises • No proactive communication • No urgency despite the situation
I now urgently require my refund to be processed immediately so that I can purchase a laptop elsewhere in time for the student’s exams.
I hope Digital Generation treats this matter with the seriousness it deserves and resolves it without further delay.
