VERY BAD COMPANY

I also fell victim to this company. I was looking for an engine for my husband's bakkie. He phones me and tells me that he would be able to rebuild it. Quotes me 9500. After a few days of consideration, we except his quote and I pay him 4500 deposit for the new parts that he needs to fit. He comes to tow in the vehicle on 26 Feb 2021. Estimates that it would take around 10 days. On 05 Mar 2021 I contact him to check on progress of the vehicle, and here is where the list of excuses start. 2 of his personnel were sick and they fell behind. 09 Mar I request a progress report, no reply. On 12 Mar same story. On 16 Mar he informs me that he would need to do some engineering and I will need to pay an additional 1900, which I paid. He let me know that he has paid it over to the engineer. On 17 March I decide to go and check on the vehicle. I have never seen such a disorganized dirty workshop. On 18 March I send Martin a mail expressing my concerns on the progress of my vehicle, again no reply. 19 March he informs me that he will be receiving the engine from the engineering shop. 22 March I enquire about when vehicle will be done, no reply. On 23 March same question, no reply. 23 March I requested that he gets my vehicle ready for me to collect. 26 March towed vehicle back home. Since 26 March empty promises to refund my money, or at least bring me the new parts that he was supposed to purchase with my deposit. After checking all parts stripped from the vehicle, we found a long list of parts, nuts etc missing. Even the globes from the back lights. 12 April handed him over to my lawyer. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY OR EITHER OF THE OWNERS MARTIN AND JJ. They take your money, strip your vehicle and use the parts for other vehicles, and damage interior and exterior. Please let me know if you also have a problem with this company. If we unite we might be able to get results
