DMW sold me a Suzuki Swift as " Clean" - Not involved in an accident - a legit Suzuki Dealership tracked down the original owner - that the car was written off and purchased from a Salvage co. My sister took the car back within 3 working days because the car was swaying and making strange noises and demanded a full refund of R151,500 - as per the CPA. DMW even have her a roadworthy certificate. On requesting a full refund, Mark said that he used my money for salaries and could not refund me my money. He then have my sis a letter stating he will give a full refund in 2 to 3 weeks - this was on 18 Mar-2021. I then got legal advise and was told to write to MIOSA = who ruled that my sis gets full refund, this was in Jun-21. Still no refund. Lawyers fees have mounted to over R17K, sent DMW a summons - Zafar Muhammed has now got his lawyer to give him 20 days - till 30 Sep-21 to respond - still no refund. Looks like DMW - has done this before - the car is still in the name of DMW, I have been told by Suzuki that the car has no trade-in value as it was written off. I pray that this never happens to any other innocent consumer again. I hope Zafar does the right thing and refunds my sister her money!
