Fixed problem but over priced
First the positive: these guys were quick to respond and arrive within promised time frame. They identified the main problem quickly and also pointed out that our dish needed to be replaced as it seems loose . I understand business is business, so an upsell at any opportunity will be offered. We declined . They replaced the SATCR Top-box. Which was the cause and our tv problem was solved. We had to settle the bill there and then . I am ok with this… BUT now here is the negative: we were ********** price-wise . I was aware of the call out fee. But was not aware of the excessive installation fee. Plus the top-box price was x4 more than average. Lesson learned.. know you prices !.. ask more questions BEFORE getting them on site ( I.e. what is installation fees, what does it cover, check the price of items to be installed) Fortunately we declined the “new dish” offer, realizing afterwards the price they mentioned was way too much . Will I call them again .. probably not . I really want to support smaller businesses and encourage others to do so too. As long as I get a guaranteed, quality job at a reasonable price . HD-Dish Installers AKA DishCap ( found them via Google) failed on the last point . Sorry .😞

Fixed problem but over priced

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service provided by Dish Africa Sat!, specifically by Ashley Ndlovu. Over the past week, I have engaged in numerous correspondences via email and telephone, trying to finalize an installation. Throughout this process, there have been multiple mistakes with the quotation, as shared in previous emails, leading to delays and confusion. However, the culmination of my frustration was the sudden and last-minute request for me to provide a step ladder for your installation team. Not only was this request unexpected and unprofessional, but it also highlighted a significant oversight and lack of preparation on your part. Following this, I was further taken aback by the advice to seek services from another installer simply because your team lacked basic equipment. I had set aside time, made necessary preparations, and patiently waited for your team to arrive and complete the installation. The entire experience has been fraught with inefficiencies, miscommunication, and a sheer lack of respect for my time. I urge you to take immediate actions to address these issues within your company to ensure no other customer has to endure such an exasperating experience. Furthermore, for transparency and to make other potential customers aware, I will be sharing my experience on hellopeter.com. It’s essential that potential customers know what to expect when dealing with Dish Africa Sat!. I expect an immediate response and an appropriate resolution to this matter

Fake dstv installers
I requested for a signal check on my DSTV. I went online and got a so called dstv accredited installers called dish cap installers. The guys came to my home and started fiddling with my decoder. After a while, they requested that i buy a signal installer from them (R650). They pretended they were fixing it. Unbeknown to me, they had pocketed the very thing i bought from them. After a while, some of the channels started coming good. They said the rest of the channels will come after 20 mins. They left and for me to realised, they had taken the booster i bought from. They are not picking my calls. Please beware

Bad Service
I had DishCap DSTV Installation come out to our premises on the 4the December 2020 and had a brand new installation done which I was quite happy with the service however I have discovered the installer who had come to my premises did not do the installation properly which caused the Satellite dish to move around on roof. First thing Saturdat morning I made contact with DishCap and informed Standford that the installation was not done properly which caused the satellite dish to move and caused the LNB cables to loose signal. All I received from him was we will call you tomorrow which never happened, I again made contact Monday & today and was told I will be assisted tomorrow . This is unacceptable, these people take your money do a **** job, talk to you about a warranty and don't deliver on there promise. These people seem do not care about the fact that there installer did not do the installation correctly. Such bad service and a horrible manager who's name is Standford who don't seem to care about the fact that they ****ed up
