Still waiting for my refund after 2 weeks
I placed an order for goods with DIYElectronics on the 21st of July. A day later, I was contacted to be informed that the item I had ordered and paid for was not in stock and that I would shorty be emailed a credit note or I could request a refund. When I received the email, the email read that should I want to request a refund, all I need do is reply to the email with my banking information, which I did. Fast forward to today (06 August) and I still have not received my refund. Even a confirmation email would have been helpful but I have been left in the dark. This is a very poor show indeed. Once I have received my refund, I will return to update my review.

NO AFTERSALE SERVICE
I ordered a sensor breakout board from them that does not work, I Have submitted a query, this is now a month later with no feedback/response or anything. But if you forget something in your shopping cart you are being spammed with emails. NO AFTERSALE SERVICE!

DIYELECTRONICS.CO.ZA SUX!
I orderd 4000mah cells from them and when i tested them they tested below the 4000mah as advertised, i asked for a refund but they came up with many reasins why they cant , i was told my tester is not correct but i tested a 5000mah cell from micro robotics and it was 5000mah so i dont know how my tester is not correct. they have a dont care attitude

Avoid DIY Electronics: Poor Service and Communication
Placed an order with DIY Electronics on 2024/06/27. According to their website, the order has been shipped. However, when trying to track the package on the courier company's website, there are numerous notifications indicating that the courier was notified but unable to collect the package. I called DIY Electronics on 2024/07/03 to request assistance and clarity. Today is 2024/07/05, and I have still not heard back from them or received any assistance. The courier tracking still shows that the package was not collected. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of service and communication from DIY Electronics. If you expect any level of customer service, I strongly advise against using this company.

STOP USING ARAMEX
Please start using a courier service that actually want to courier things, Aramex is the worst even and this will be the last time I order from you if you do not start giving customers options between different couriers
