On the 20 Feb 2018 I send Dot engineering a BMW 1300 motorcycle for frame welding , I was told by Clive that the bike would be ready in 2 weeks , 2 months later I collected the bike just to find the frame was only welded on the one side and hanging loose, they repaired it while I waited. After inspecting the bike I found that they broke the front mudguard and stripped the bolts, they somehow managed to fit the front forks stoppers the wrong way around and never bothered to fasten any bolts or cables that was taken off... some of the pipes were bent and the abs was disconnected and the bolts missing , I called live to complain just to be told he has stepped out , I called him on his cell but no answer, I sent whats apps he read it but did not bother returning any of my calls, wont ever support Clive at Dot Engineering again.

On 10 Feb 2018 I sent Dot Engineering in Booysens a subframe of a Yamaha R 6 for welding and straightening the subframe was still on the bike and delivered to Dot , I was told it would take a week and the price would be R950, I explained to Clive what needed to be done and supplied a sample of a subframe for him to use. After calling them a week later I was told that the owner Clive was not available and would only be back in 3 weeks time, this is where the nightmare begins. I was called a week later and told that they busy with the subframe and wanted to know what to do with the sample frame provided , I explained to Kevin that Clive was informed what to do and re explained it to Kevin. 3 weeks later I called and was told the subframe is ready and that the price is now R4500 I was not happy with this as the quoted price was R950 he brought the price down to R2500 although the quoted price was R950 I collected the subframe almost 2 months after it was handed in just to find that the welding was not done correctly , I loaded the bike and transported it 30km , on offloading the bike the subframe snapped , I called Clive and sent photos of this he said I should bring it back and he will sort it...... 3 weeks later I was told to collect the frame ..... when I got there Clive was not there as usual and has to deal with Kevin. The frame was still bent and parts missing , I called Clive and he said he would refund the money , I have made many attempts to call and whats apped Clive but he does not answer or call back and needless to say no money has been paid back. He ripped me off and I will never use is services again.
