Secretary compliant

I just phoned the doctor's room. I wanted to speak to Dr. Enslin about her patient who is admitted in hospital. The secretary was so cold and inconsiderate. She was not interested to know why I was called but she told me to speak to the nurses in the ward. As I was explaining why I phoned, she said "then speak to the nurses in the ward to call the Dr. Why are you phoning here?" I just became numb and did not respond. She could have given me atleast a bit of guidance in a proper or nice manner. I phoned into the doctor's room because I was not getting any joy from the nurses in the ward. But after the phone call I got even more upset and frustrated. My mother had spoken to the nurses about how she was feeling, and the nurse never returned for feedback.
