Complaint: Unprofessional Conduct by Dr. Estelle Cornelissen
Complaint: Unprofessional Conduct by Dr. Estelle Cornelissen I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the unprofessional conduct of Dr. Estelle Cornelissen and her staff at her practice located at: N1 City Hospital, Medpark 1, Second Floor, Room 202B Despite struggling to secure an appointment, my scheduled meeting on February 27, 2025, was cancelled 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time. The issues leading to the cancellation were: - Excessive and lengthy WhatsApp messages with instructions, sent on January 31, 2025, and February 11, 2025. - Unnecessary and repetitive phone calls from staff members Zandile and Lindie, inquiring about my arrival time while I was still en route. - Cancellation of the appointment without reasonable cause, as I was not late and could have completed any necessary forms after the appointment. This experience resulted in me taking unpaid leave, and I was informed by another medical professional that this is standard procedure for Dr. Cornelissen's practice. I am deeply concerned that the Hippocratic oath, which Dr. Cornelissen has sworn to uphold, is being grossly neglected in her practice. The oath states, in part: "I will respect the autonomy and dignity of my patient... I will respect the rights of patients, of colleagues, and of other health professionals, and safeguard patient confidences and privacy." Furthermore, the principles of patient care, including respect, empathy, and compassion, are clearly lacking in Dr. Cornelissen's practice. I hope that you will take my complaint seriously and address the unprofessional conduct of Dr. Cornelissen and her staff.

Dr Estelle Cornelissen - Rheumatologist
Dr Cornelissen is an amazing Rheumatologist. She took on my case when my dr’s in Singapore were unable to give me a diagnosis. She has taken very good care of me and had always looked after my best interests . She is an amazing Rheumatologist. I would highly recommend her.

Dr Cornelissen is an amazing Rheumatologist. She took on my case when my dr’s in Singapore were unable to give me a diagnosis. She has taken very good care of me and had always looked after my best interests . She is an amazing Rheumatologist. I would highly recommend her.

Unethical standards of a doctor
We made an appointment with her in November 2020 for 21 January 20121. Two days before our appointment we received a call from their admin asking which doctor referred us. I replied, we are private, we know which specialist we need and no one referred. And suddenly our appointment declined..... Two days to go and after waiting 3 months..... WHY. It is my health, my money. We are educated people we know the differences between specialists, who does what... She is Rheumatologist... But Now I am not sure what type of Dr She is, and what oath did she take when finished the school. I hope a prospective patients reads that and find themselves a doctor who holds the Hippocratic Oath to uphold specific ethical standards. And do not attend to above mentioned doctor who can drop you 2 days prior to your appointment done by them.
