I Went to Dr J Nel for a consultation!! My funds is exhausted. My bill was R530. When I asked why so much? The answer was!! Pasients pay from January an extra R37 for PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT!! I Phoned several drs to find out if they also asked the R37 for every consultation!! Not one Dr that I spoke to ask the extra R37. I worked out roughly If Dr ask R37 for each patient say he sees 20 patients then it is R740 extra a day. Then if he sees 50 patients for the month it works out R18 000. We all are trying to make ends meet and we all going through a very difficult time!!! Maybe the people thought the consultations went up???? that is what I thought. Sorry I will not be a patient longer by dr Nel. This is not on!!!! Without prejudice!!
