I had the worst experience with the Receptionist in Montana for Dr Adeyemo the cardiologist, the lady was so rude, I greeted her and the moment I tried to get her assistance she started attacking me and asking what I wanted because the doctor already assisted my mother, I wanted assistance with a tube for her nebuliser, at the pharmacy we were told that we need to get a prescription, so basically I needed a prescription but the lady didn’t allow me to finish my sentence, she just wanted me to leave the room. I said I am going to report her and she said “you won’t be the first one to report”. The treatment is so bad, I am still shocked and shaken by that receptionist.

It's been 11 years since I stopped going to Dr Adeyemo's practice at Khoza Street Atteridgeville. He is so impatient and has bad attitude towards patients. I have experienced that several times shouting at patients over the phone and never thought one day he will do same to me.

I had a disappointing experience at this practice. When I arrived, the receptionist was quite condescending and not very helpful. While she did relax after a while, first impressions matter, and it wasn’t a pleasant start. Once I was called in, I sat in the doctor's office, and when he arrived, he asked about my symptoms. However, he seemed completely uninterested and lacked any sense of care or thoroughness. He didn’t conduct any examination—he simply listened to my symptoms, wrote a prescription, and that was it. I was genuinely surprised at the lack of effort because, for all I know, my symptoms could have been caused by something else that required further investigation. Overall, I left feeling like I wasn’t truly cared for as a patient. A medical professional should at least take the time to assess a patient properly rather than rushing through an appointment. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor based on my experience.

Dr. Adeyemo is excellent but I can not say it from two of the ladies working for him. The one receptionist at Montana shout over the phone it's time for me to look for a new cardiologist. They send me the account to pay of R3200. I complained about it because I've told her you must phone Discovery's chronic department I am registered their for my aortic disease I can give you the codes you they send me, she told me they do it one day before consultation. There was 2 consultations left over for 2024. I have told her my medical aid was depleted so you must make sure before the appointment, her response on my email I am not the one who works with the email, I asked her can you please forward it to the person who is working with it then. The day before the consultation I asked is it sorted because this is a chronic follow up her response everything is fine I can come in 13 November. I arrived ask her can I give you the codes, told me to sit she'll call me later, I was alone no other patients. One patient exit, the doctor followed and told me to wait there is an emergency he must attend. I waited for two hours then he came back. An ECG was taken by an assistant but then he said there is a problem he can't print it. The doctor told me it is OK he will send his report through to my GP. Natasha never asked for the codes. When I confronted her she screamed at me why do you come to the doctor knowing you don't have money, I remind her of all my emails I send her, but she kept changing the subject. Now she told me the problem is Yolinda at the account department she was also rude and told me you can pay R5000 per month on your account. So I told her you know what you and Natasha did not do your work she blamed you and you blamed her, but you can change the codes. The audacity they have to load the same account to my medical this year for payment!!!! My medical was informed by me about the whole story, they met me and paid the account in full after two and a half month, which I appreciate. But now there is 3000 gone on my savings plan for this year. I am sorry to told my story to you but maybe this will be the only way the doctor will see it. And if he lost me as a patient he must be aware of the two rude ladies working for him. I'll give him a five star 🌟 but one for the two receptionist.

Dr O A Adeyemo’s receptionists in no 54 Atteridgeville are the worst and ill treat the patients. Worst behavior I’ve today experienced. I’ve always noticed the delinquent behavior and ignored it, but this time around it stooped below ground levels. They shout at you and address you in a very derogatory tone! Guys this is a private sector but the treatment is so public!!!! I hate it so much. I thought I was bugging, but when I got home and explained what happened to my husband he knew already what I was talking about and said he always avoids it. That is not right. The doctor is so patient and understanding of his patients why can’t his frontiers mirror the same? This is bad reception and reputation. I hope it gets dealt with as the doctor promised he would.
