They should call this place Fashion city (or even Wig city).
It is not a neat shopping mall, but a maze of small shops (like Marabastad). The parking area, passages and shops are very busy, over stocked, cramped and disorganized.
Most shops sell the same stuff; not a very big variety. There are bargains here, especially if you buy in bulk. Some sell only bulk. The problem is to find what you are looking for.
There are no restaurants or take aways. Just a few hawkers outside selling drinks, sweets, samoozas, pizzas and fruit.
The Chinese there are slightly more friendly than elsewhere. Most accept just cash. I have not seen an ATM anywhere.
It is located in downtown Johannesburg. It felt safe inside.
It is wheelchair friendly.
