Stay away from Driveshaft Centre Bellville

Of the various horrific experiences I had with Driveshaft Centre Bellvile / Danie Matthysen / Luty I will share two with you that could have caused fatal accidents :

1. Replacement front wheel bearings

After they installed the brand new wheel bearing assemblies one of my workers drove to my farm with a trailer to fetch sheep. On the way back he heard a noise coming from the front wheels. He stopped and on inspection he found that one bolt securing the assembly to the bakkie already fell out and all the others are loose. I phoned Luty and he promised he will go out and repair their shocking inferior workmanship - he never arrived and left my driver stranded next to the road. Upon further inspection the front right bolts were also not tightened. If the wheel with assembly fell off it could have caused a fatal accident. They never offered an apology.

2. Replacement front brake pads

They replaced the front brake pads after which my son drove to the farm. On his way home he heard a loud noise left front and when he tried to brake there was no brakes. He managed to stop the vehicle and upon further inspection found that the entire brake caliper fell off once again because a basic simple thing to tighten nuts were not done - after two experiences it is clear they are not able to perform the most basic task and there is no supervision to ensure work is performed according to acceptable standards.

Danie Matthysen's only defence was "the right of first repair" - he really expects me to return my vehicle to *********** and unprofessional "technicians".

Stay as far as possible away from Driveshaft Centre Bellville - their inferior workmanship can cause your death.
