As the daughter of the Droomers Yamaha family, I’ve grown up seeing the passion, hard work, and dedication that goes into running a business. Owning and managing a company isn’t easy—it comes with challenges, learning curves, and the constant drive to improve. We take great pride in what we do, and our goal has always been to deliver the best service, products, and experiences to our customers. But the truth is, just like everyone else, we are also doing life for the first time. Mistakes happen, lessons are learned, and we grow from them. What matters most is that we listen, adapt, and always strive to do better. To our valued customers—we appreciate you, we hear you, and we are always working to improve. Your support means everything to us, and we are committed to providing the best service we can. Thank you for being part of our journey.

In November 2024 Ii ordered a CF MOTO 450 from Droomers and it only arrived after I had left for two months in NZ. During this time bikes were delivered and feedback local and on websites was that at low speed the ride was jerky. From overseas ride reports it appeared all it required was an update/reconfiguration of the ECU so I (foolishly) assumed that my bike would have been updated before I collected it. I collected it yesterday (27/01/2025) and riding home (a distance of 45km) I realized that when traveling in traffic at 30-40km/hr the bike was surging a lot. It seems that between 3000-4000 rpm with a constant throttle the engine is not sure if it should be running or dropping to idle. I contacted the dealer and they have now agreed to come and fetch it today to see if they can sort it out. I WILL UPDATE THIS RATING IF THEY DO ACTUALLY DO AS THEY HAVE PROMISED. My point is that after selling the first batch of the imports where similar problems were reported at small throttle openings, and hopefully checking what overseas reports are saying, is that they would have been doing a thorough check on all the 450s before they went out.

Emailed various Yamaha agents in SA, the only reply I received was from Ruan Brink at Droomers Yamaha in Bellville, 5 star service and went out of his way to help, also letting me know what model the bike was. Piston and rings needed had to be ordered from Japan as it is an old bike and major genuine parts are not available in South Africa.

While looking around for a new bike to replace my bike, I mailed Martin and he replied swiftly and I found my new dream bike. After a meet and the mechanics assessed my trade in bike to be in great condition he gave me some great info on the bike and put me at ease on the sale, especially that I was buying a bike I haven't seen in the flesh yet. In about week I had my new bike in my garage and smiling from ear to ear.

Just wanted to say thanks to Martin and Yamaha for a great experience and will definitely recommend you guys to my friends.

A few months ago I went to Droomers Bellville to buy a bikers jacket. In the shop it looked ok, but it's quite dark and it was suppose to be a ladies jacket, but when I got home I really felt the sales person sold me a men's small, and it was far too puffy and big for me. I hanged it up and contacted them a few days later, explaining that I live quite far and want to return it as its too big and bulky for me, the person on the other line said no problem, I must just keep the slip and return it when I get the opportunity. I live far so don't go that side alot, and it stayed in my cupboard for a couple of months. On the 6th of June I finally had the opportunity to return the jacket, I even phoned early the morning and explained to someone that I was coming through specially to return the jacket, he asked if I had my slip and I said yes I do. I spoke to Joe. Once at the shop he assured me it won't be a problem I must just leave the jacket there with him, and since its a Sunday they didn't have enough cash to give me, so he said they would pay the amount owed to me back on Monday morning. I thanked him and left the jacket with him. This morning a woman Edwina phoned and said they can't

My husband took his bike to be serviced in October to Droomers in Bellville, they found a fault and had to get a warranty claim to fix the fault.

Was told his bike is out of warranty and he will have to pay for repair.
