On the 2 December 2020 I ordered and paid for a Thule backpack from Due South Escape. On 6 December they notified me that my order is being cancelled due to no stock at warehouse or any other store. I immediately went online and saw the item I ordered is still in stock. I searched for stock at stores and also found there to be in stock. I have even phoned the store and they confirmed their stock of the Thule backpack. I send through screenshots of my proof of the stocked and asked them not to cancel since the item is available. On 14 December I received an email saying thank you for the response, but we are continuing with the cancellation and refund. That same day they removed the item drom their website. Firstly to wait almost 10 days before receiving a response is pathetic to say the least. Then secondly the way this was handled will lead to me never conducting or recommending business with Due South Escape again.

I've had an @Home account for nearly two years now and never had any trouble or missed any payment. This month when I received my clearscore report it stated that there is another account ( a Due South account) Under my Id number. I contacted Due South last week Tuesday and the lady whom I spoke to confirmed that there is another person's account which appears under my ID. She promised to send it on to get investigated. Wednesday I phoned again to find out what is going in regarding this investigation, and the Carmelita helped me and she told me that no investigation has been logged. She then sent an email and CC'd me in it to see that this problem get sorted out, but up to today, one week later I still haven't received any feedback regarding this and this guy's account is still reflecting on my clearscore, which means that it is still under my ID. This is impossible as a female ID can not be used for a male (Carmelita confirmed that is was a male named IJ van der Vyver) and second of all he had his Due South account long before I even opened my @Home account. I am SUPER upset about this as this issue is influencing my clearscore terrible.

I bought a Garmin GPS unit from duesouth a few years ago. The unit had some software issue however I used it for a month or 2 until the unit failed completely. I returned it to duesouth in canal walk who told me they couldn't do anything as the unit was on promotion and I would have to take the unit to Garmin. At the time the Garmin offices in capetown had been closed and I would have to send the unit to Johannesburg. I was already frustrated so I just left it. A year later I found a company dealing with Garmin and they sent the offending unit to jhb. A few days later I was told that the hardware of the unit needs replacing and it wasn't possible for the etrex. However I was offered a returned unit for R2k. I declined as I have 2 other units and 2 garmin satnavs with similar issues. I will never purchase a Garmin again nor will I spend money at duesouth for the way they handled the issue ( the duesouth range is overpriced and poor quality anyway).

Wonderful store and great service. I just got the most gorgeous top at an amazing discount. Anyway, discount or no discount the products they stock are unique and I have never seen them at other stores. I purchase from different branches and I always enjoy good service from them.

Received good discounts and great looking goods! But the attitude of the salespeople was very disappointing. They were disinterested and unhelpful. They were more interested in chatting among themselves.

I received a call from DueSouth attorneys saying that I owe DueSouth R15 000, I told them that I do no have an account with them. Then they subsequently requested me to send an affidavit, certified copy of ID and 5 of my signatures so that they can send it to TFG forensic department for further investigation. I submitted all the requested document within the stipulated time. After few weeks I received another email requesting me to submit the Affidavit and Case number from SAPS, I went to my nearest SAPS branch and explained to them everything, they told me that I cannot open a case or Incident report because I do not have the crime scene and the actual complainant is DueSouth and they were supposed to open the case. As a confused as I was, with trying to find conclusion with this matter, I contacted Forensic depatment of TFG while I was still at the police station and told her same thing that the police said to me and I gave the police officer the phone to explain further. After few discussion with them, it was concluded that they will work with my affidavit, 5 signatures and copy of my ID. I am not happy because, this issues has been delaying for a while and they are even sending me smses giving me deadlines that I have to submit case number, if I don't within the stipulated deadline, the case will not be closed. Obvious as an individual, the first thing that comes in your mind is how this will damage my credit record.

At the westville branch in pavillion, "LORAINE" the assistant manager who is absoloutley rude and have no people s****s whatsoever, Was so rude to my elderly mother !!! Is this the calibur and level of pathetic service we have to endure when purchasing at this branch ??? .... all my mum needed to do, was exchange a pair of boots which i bought for her last week (7days ago) . ..... after the sale went through i asked the cashier for a gift reciept and the cashier said its too late the sale went through but we welcome to bring it back ( shouldnt we as customers be asked this prior or be informed ) the lady could of easily exchanged the shoe by matching the codes or the box . As it was a gift . SERIOUSLY GUYS YOU CANT BE HAVING UNCOUTH STAFF AT THE FRONT OF HOUSE !!!!! WILL DEFINITLEY BE SHARING THIS WITH ALL MY FREINDS AND FAMILY .
