A reputable home loans insurance company ABSA employs shady suppliers to install geysers for their so call customers. Neither ABSA nor the shady installers can be contacted for claim. Pathetic service. And we have to pay more interest to feed these incompetent companies.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!! GREATEST REGRET OF MY LIFE WHEN A DURATHERM GEYSER WAS INSTALLED. INSURER DECLINED OUR CLAIM AND REFERRED US TO DURATHERM SINCE GEYSER STILL UNDER WARRANTEE. NOW (EVEN AFTER PHOTOS AND PLUMBER'S REPORTS WERE SENT, THEY SIMPLY REPSONDED RIDICULOUSLY THAT IT IS A WE GEYZER (AFTER PHOTOS AND REPORTS EVIDENCE WAS SENT TO THEM) FROM THERE, NO RESPONSE. YOU CAN'T SEEM TO GET HOLD OF THEM.

Purchased a Duratherm Geyser from Plumblink 3 months ago. The element has burnt out and the geyser has burst. Plumblink are not interested in replacing the geyser and Duratherm are not even contactable. In the meanti8me we are without hot water and everyone is either missing or not interested in assisting. You are dealing with Plumblink or Duratherm at your peril. Both are a disaster. STAY AWAY

ABSA insurance arranged that a Duratherm geyser be installed after the geyser in the insured property burst just over three years ago. Now ABSA insurance are wiping their hands of the issue and say its Duratherm that must replace the geyser. Try contacting Duratherm. They dont answer their phones. So no one takes responsibility and my tenant sits without hot water. I hold ABSA insurance liable as they installed an inferior geyser judging by Hello Peters ratings of Duratherm and now when it comes to the crunch the client must try get Duratherm to honor their guarantee. Shocking service from both parties.

Through Standard Bank Insurance I waited around 14 Days for a replacement. Eventually got This Duratherm Thing installed. They sell you with their 10 Year Warranty. I fell for it too unfortunatly!!!! After 3x months my thermostat packed up. No one is allowed to replace it. It has to go through them. The company whom.intalled it logged a call with them. As did I. Not one phone call recieved or a reply email. I tried to get a website even a contact number. NOTHING THEY MALICIOUSLY AND ON PURPOSE HIDE THEMSELVES from their customers!!!!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS STANDARD BANK BBBEEE UNDER THE TABLE FORCED UPON PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!!! REFUSE IT AND GO LOCAL.KWIKOT OR SOMETHING. Not great but at least you get service, they dont hide!!!!!!!!!!

The contractor (appointed by Standard Bank) installed a Duratherm geyser for us in February 2021. After installation, the geyser did not heat the water. I turned out that it was a faulty thermostat. Duratherm did not want to replace the geyser and sent a plumber to replace the thermostat. He did not have any electrical qualification but claimed he knows what he is doing. Luckily my husband checked the connections afterwards and some was loose :(. Today (less than 6 weeks later) the thermostat is once again not working and it is very difficult to get to peak to anyone at Duratherm. You get put on hold without any response. |Eventually I got through to a person ( Zubaidah) who asked that I send an email and they will send someone out. After another 3 hours I have not received any response or even a confirmation that they received the email. Very disappointed on the lack of service and customer care.
