You get the quality for which you pay.
Honestly, we've used them several times and we just don't seem to learn from our mistakes. Bottom of the pile for quality. They are the cheapest supplier around but you get what you pay for. Our braai room has six large glass panes in sliding aluminium doors. Two of them replaced by Durbanville glass. The older panels are still in excellent condition 20 years later. The Durbanville glass ones are delaminating after 10. We've also used them for smaller panes and wish we hadn't.

Pathetic service - Durbanville Glass Centre & Aluminium
I am most disappointed in Durbanville Glass Centre and Aluminium. I placed an order for the installation of a cat flap on a pane of glass. Twice they had to send a team round to do measurements. I enquired twice about the installation and was informed it’s at their supplier. Today on the 7th of July I called again (almost two weeks since my order) and they couldn’t give me an answer when it would be done. I informed them previously I needed the job done rather urgently. What disappointed me the most is they made no effort to apologise for their pathetic service. They just don’t seem to care. I will never use them again and most certainly not refer anyone to them.

No after sales service
NO after sales service .Two windows leak , dents in several frames , some windows cannot be closed easily. No supervision during installation. Promises made , conveniently forgotten. Had to cause a fuss to have poor plaster work fixed. Would not recommend them.

Durbanville Glass the worst!
The worst glass company ever. We gave them samples of two small glass doors with instructions to gut them as per the samples. They explained that they outsource this type of work which was not a problem. Would be ready in 7 days. After 7 days not ready, after 14 days their excuse was that the other company sent the wrong "stuff". Promised it would be ready following Monday(in another 7 days). When i phoned again, Monday became Tuesday. I cancelled the order and wanted to know when i could collect my samples. The samples were at the shop and i could collect. Strange that it was still at the shop as they said it was sent to the other company to use as templates for the new ones. Their unfazed, non-nonchalant attitude i cannot understand. The lies every time i phoned is even worse. Stay away from this company and rather support a company with some ethics and are eager to do the work.

This business is a circus. Complete incompetence on every level, from processing your order to installation. We now have a permanent reminder in the shape of a poorly installed sliding door of this ****py service.
