We would just like to thank Pinky at Durbanville Municipality and the power technicians for their exceptional and fast service at resolving our electrical issue. We phoned just after 08:00 this morning and not even an hour later and the issue has been resolved. Thank you once again for a job well done. You guys are amazing.

Durbanville municipality, congratulations and big thanks for the way you treat us grey haired invalids, often in wheelchairs or with special walking sticks, often just able to stay upright, at your offices. Your positive attitude and friendliness make life so much easier for us. With this there is also the appreciation regarding the other folks in the queue who are so friendly and willing to let us jump the queue. It is really appreciated. My experience with you is only positive.

On Monday, 6/09/2021 I went to the Durbanville Municipality just before they closed. Usually public servants turn to discourage people from coming in because they are closing and wanting to go home. In this case the 2 security guys encouraged me to hurry, helped me with the form and the pen even though they clearly wrote that each person was to bring their own. They were energetic, served with a smile. When I got inside even the officers behind the counter were eager to assist, I paid for the licence discs and was done in less than 15 min. I was so impressed!

It is appalling that people have to sit in long queues in the sun to renew their vehicles licenses. At this point in time the municipality should have made an effort to accommodate people seeing that they DEPEND on the money to keep on operating. Elderly people over 60 have to get heatstroke by the time they are helped!!! It is PATHETIC to say the least! Obviously the municipality doesn't give a **** about their clients who pay their salaries!

Our black bin was stolen. We reported it on Friday and asked for a new bin which was delivered on Sunday morning!! We were so pleasantly surprised. Thank you so much for making this such a pleasant experience and making us proud.

This country's laws are absolutely ridiculous! Take the traffic department for example. They FAILED to send us our yearly registration renewal forms for our vehicles which we normally receive every year, fill out and renew. This year they did not and when we realised our registrations had expired in April, it was too late. I mean, who keeps a watchful eye out on the disc to see when it expires with everyone's extremely busy lives. They want our money, but they don't fulfil their side. We had to pay almost R700 for a R300 registration renewal. RIDICULOUS!! The way SA citizens get treated when it comes to these type of things are so unfair, but you can't do anything about it, because the government is so corrupt. In my opinion they don't send out all renewals on purpose so that they can catch unsuspecting people off guard who then have to pay insane penalties which were preventable in the first place if the traffic/municipality just sent out the renewal forms as they're supposed to. Isn't that what our taxes are paying their salaries for??? Many people are complaining about this!!

I had to change my cars registration address. The person helping me went the extra mile by printing a document I had forgotten from an email. I had the new license in less than an hour. Thank you!
