Excellent service and workmanship
We called Easy locks and controls for some advice and to assist in refurbishing and installing a second hand garage door. They managed to restore the door to a excellent state. Our garage door if like a new door, because they took the time to do the job right. The service was prompt and the communication was excellent. When we had a little trouble with one of the remotes, they managed to come out to fix it and gave me an extra remote as a back-up. I recommend them to anyone, because of the service and workmanship. they recommend me to call them anytime as the door is now under their warranty.

Easy Locks Locksmith
EasyLocks will rip you off. I called them to open my bathroom door. Something that took them less than 10 mins. They charged me over R3900. I’ve never felt so **********. I will never use them again.

Easy Locks / Gauteng Mobile Services & Repairs - *******, ****S & **** OF THE EARTH
***** BY *******! We were charged over R3000 for a change of a door lock. This lock broke and was replaced by the business. The replacement lock broke as well after 4 months. When I contacted the handyman of this business that attended to change the locks, he denied that his company would have ever billed us accordingly. Invoice came from a "Gauteng Mobile Services & Repairs" - no registration number. In retrospect, I should not have paid the invoice at all and they could have claimed it from me through a legal route - would have cost them more :) Lesson Learned We now simply got a lock from Builders Warehouse and installed it on our own.

Easy Locks are *****sters!!
Absolutely ******* and dishonest. A call out was made to help unlock a security gate. The call out fee was R150.00. After putting two *****s in the lock (not even replacing it) and then telling us it will probably break soon we were charged R3 200.00. The technician was there for 1 hour and spent most of that time standing in our house talking about his personal life. The technician refused to leave without a proof of payment, when asked for a tax invoice we were threatened. We eventually receive the invoice from a company called Gauteng mobile services and repairs with no Reg number and no fee breakdown. STAY FAR AWAY!!!

Keep well away from this so called business. The guys name is Ezekial Wassung. Business address 19, Clarkia Street Mitchellsplain. This address does not exist. Phone No: 0789753304. I called him out due to a fault with my electronic gate motor. He claimed the power unit, electronic printed card and support battery needed to be replaced. This was carried out and I was presented with an invoice for R4050.00. A clause on his invoice indicates payment to be COD or EFT within 24 hours. I researched his component prices to be almost double that of the retail price from the agents. Meanwhile he messaged me within the 24 hour period demanding proof of payment to which I ignored. That same evening he messaged me again demanding payment. I informed him I was not happy with his prices and wished to make a compromise. He informed me that he will come to my premises early the following morning to remove the components he had installed. Upon his arrival, I attempted to discuss his prices to which he became abusive. After a heated discussion, he drove off with his components accompanied with a middle finger salute. My components were not faulty. The cause of the failure was a faulty electrical supply to the power unit. I am so grateful that I challenged him and not paid him. This man is a scumbag working alone. KEEP WELL AWAY FROM HIM.

Easy locks scam!!!!
Please, whatever you do, do not use easy locks!! Contact details: 073869-8253. Call out fee is said to be R165.00. After zero work been done I have been charged a total of R1600. 00!! I have contacted the guy to query why my wife had to pay that amount after the call out fee is stipulated at R165.00. He has now blocked me and I cannot make contact with him

Easy locks scam!!!!
Please, whatever you do, do not use easy locks!! Contact details: 073869-8253. Call out fee is said to be R165.00. After zero work been done I have been charged a total of R1600. 00!! I have contacted the guy to query why my wife had to pay that amount after the call out fee is stipulated at R165.00. He has now blocked me and I cannot make contact with him

company wanted to take consumer for a ride
I cannot recommend this company to anyone at all. They wanted to take my wife for a fool whilst I was away on business. They wanted to sell her a new gate motor, telling her that the old one is completely damaged and charging ZAR 8000.00 for a new motor incl. installation. When I came back from business I had a friend of mine who is a specialist in gate motors checking it out and there was nothing wrong with the motor. It took this friend of mine 20 seconds to reset the motor and it worked properly. Obviously, Easy Locks and Controls PTY Ltd wanted to cash in on a new motor which one could get on the internet for ZAR 4690.00 exkl. installation and then pocketing the old still working motor as well for resell. What a lousy and dishonest approach. Do not use these people at all. They are crooks. When I wrote them an email to complain about their service for which they charged a ZAR 495.00 call out fee, I never got any reply. Speaks for itself, right? Chancers.

Absolute Rip Off
What an absolute rip off. I had a lock replaced at my house today and although they only charge a R 195 call out fee, they extort you when it comes to the labour and parts cost. Lock - R 995, Labour - R 895 and Call Out fee - R 165 totalling R 2,030. When I complained they dropped the price to R 1,600 but this is still a rip off in my opinion. It took the technician only 15 minutes to replace the lock. Please do not use this company!!!
