I don't think even this star is deserving. Making a booking has been nothing but impossible. Completely appalling experience. I was also told that the option I wanted was taken, the following day I was offered the same deal and then later told its taken..... Another deal was made and upon trying to get through with that booking they went awol......

Horrible experience speaking from an employee point of view. The biggest red flag is that you are not allowed to call white folks meaning we only deceive the native folks. Not even on a single presentation will you find a white or Indian couple because the majority affords taking legal action against them. My experience has been that paying clients were complaining about how impossible it gets for one to make a dumb booking with the group as they are always fully booked. My review is one amongst a multitude of complaints. Ask any former employees why they left Horrible is an understatement. God bless their evil hearts

A 1 rating is far too high for this ***** operator. I'm owed a refund from this property management company for an accommodation booking made on Booking.com, and the refund of the funds charged to my payment card tendered is by now outstanding for almost 3 weeks. By any reasonable expectations the refund ought to have been back in my bank account within 4-5 days at most. I too have been approached by their staff with really suspect requests (send them a photo of my bank card!!! ahem-- no bank in the country would condone such a requests being made to their banking clients -- *****ulent request! Further request for a copy of my ID without any compliance with the POPIA to motivate the need for me to provide them my personal information. I wish I'd read these reviews on hellopeter much earlier on ... The Touch Down Group appears quite incapable of transacting on a "normal basis" on anything. Indeed this experience points to a company that takes an inordinately long time to return funds owed to transacting parties - in my case for a cancelled booking within the specified terms of the Booking.com booking. Fortunately, Booking.com - as a respectable commercial organisation - are handling things from here after receiving my complaint. For my part I'll be lodging a complaint with the Information Regulator (non-compliance with POPIA) and will request their removal from the Booking.com platform. From reading the other reviews posted here, it's quite clear that The Touch Down Group dismally fail the very basics of "good business practices". They seem also quite impervious to their already very *****ed reputation. I just wish I'd know to stay clear of them, and my clear message for all others is "Stay well away from The Touch Down Group and all their properties!" They're a disaster.

I was overcharged at Dunkeld Estate Spa on 11th of June, i immediately signed and requested refund with the spa manager. A week later i had to submit id and prove of my bank details which i did. Then was told refunds take 21 x days....well needless to say i am still waiting and still no payment date as requested with the manager at Dunkeld Estate. Really frustratig...seeing that it was an error on side and now i have to keep on asking for my money ?

I have been requesting a refund from touchdown since the 18th of April. I submitted all documents as requested By her. Upon following up, she advised that the money was transferred to my profile which I had not previously requested. On 5 April I resent the requested documentation to her once again and she advised that I would receive the refund within 21 And 48 days Which should be 23 May. I have called relentlessly to follow up on my refund and confirm that it will indeed be deposited into my account on the 23rd. I still have not received any feedback. The Refund is R 6772.90 which is not A small sum of money. This is especially frustrating considering it has been over two months that I have been waiting patiently. When I made my booking, Correspondence was very quick but when I want my refund, then correspondence is non-existent. To say that I am disappointed would be an understatement! I am livid that I have to wait so long for my money and cannot get proper feedback so that I at least know what’s going on. Please sort this out I cannot wait any longer.

The seasons Golf leisure and Spa, whoo shame. Saron Hendricks from Touchdown's offices whoo shame. On or about the 10th of July 2023, I booked an overnight stay for myself and his family, for Friday, the 14th of July 2023, for the value of R2 677.50. When I arrived at the resort on the 14th of July 2023, I was advised by the staff that there is no electricity, further that there was also no backup, which meant that there was no power in all the rooms and only limited power in the restaurant. There was no indication of when the electricity would be restored, they could not blame loadshedding because there was electrictiy outside the resort, This was due to failure of the resort's electric supply grid because there was no loadshedding in the area. We requested for a cancelation of the booking and a refund for the amount paid for the booking because we clearly could not enjoy use of the facilities, no backup power in the rooms (not even candles), no wifi, very dark areas on the resort with animals roaming, we had a booking at the spa but it was closed because of no electricity, no meals because restaurant had limited backup power. The staff did not know what the procedure was for such cases and what arrangements could be made for us, Their head office could not be of assistance on that day as they had closed for business at that time. Our refund request was denied because there is a "no refund policy" so it is clear that THEY DO NOT CARE if you do not have the use & enjoyment of their promised premises and facilities. Simply put, their facility was not equipped to accommodate the people who chose to stay at the resort that weekend, at all times, it was also not safe as a result because there are animals roaming around and the parking is far from the rooms, which is ultimately a breach of the service agreement on their part. This is to help anyone who is thinking of staying there. BTW They recently refunded a celebrity who complained about their resort see - https://twitter.com/RelebogileM/status/1744642403208769921 so unless you are a celebrity, STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESORT

Beware of doing business with Touchdown in any of their properties. My wife and I had a horrific experience at Stillness Manor. We prepaid for the stay. When we arrived we were put into a room where there had been a toxic chemical spill. We left without even unpacking our bags. It took multiple emails, phone calls a refund. After promising me the refund they then spent months dodging paying it. Touchdown are now ignoring emails. STAY AWAY (your physical and mental health depends upon it!!)

Shocking, horrible, inhumane accomodation at Sharkbay Hotel, Villa 3. Black mould in bedroom, years of spider webs and spider infestation. Handled so poorly by management and head office. Booking agent Jennifer is terrible, manipulative. Makes as if she is trying to help support the horrific situation but only plays on client emotions. At R4500 per night. Kept asking to leave but they would not refund, felt like we were held hostage in accommodation reduced to 2 rooms in hotel when we needed 3 for medical reasons explained. No Health and Safety Officier at premises. Complaints as far back as 2021 on same accomodation, only saw after horrible experience! This group should be closed down by the tourism industry. I have 80 photos with videos to proof everything I say.
