Stock taking on a pay day weekend ***
No communication sent to customers on Sunday 25/01/2026 stating they are busy woth stock take since when is stock take taking place during public hours. PALESA STORE MANAGER and Tshepo (supposedly) security the most arrogant people with the ridiculous altitude will not support again

EXPENSIVE ELECTRIC BLANKETS THAT DOES NOT WORK AFTER A WEEK
Hi a week ago I emailed Econo Heat , I bought 2 electric blankets a year ago . One Queen and one double bed size. No service , they don't even email or phone you back. The 2 x electric blankets just warming up on one side of the bed.... Paid a lot of money for this product , because it's washable. Used for a week, and put it back in the box ..... So it will be much appreciated to get a answer on this matter. You can't complain about the service, because there is no service!

EXPENSIVE ELECTRIC BLANKETS THAT DOES NOT WORK AFTER A WEEK

Can't find company contact details
I purchased two panels in January. I installed them about 29 days ago and one has fully cracked in two down the centre, and theother one has started showing cracks like the first one. I can't seem to find the contact details for thd company. If they could please contact me, i would appreciate it. they can email me with their contact details.

Sad you have discontinued your Electric Blanket line - thanks for your help
Econo-Heat made an outstanding washable cotton-clad fully fitted electric blanket that runs at 12V (DC), an incredible product! Now, the other side of my double-bed version simply ceased-to-function and attempts to make contact with folk at Econo-Heat lead to the lamentable news that the line was discontinued and is currently unsupported. Through a series of emails and a suggestion by Jacques Taljaard; the issue was found to be the detachable controller, but, I was still left with one half of my bed bitingly cold!!! Lindsay O'Callaghan managed to source a PAIR of controllers for me, and her assistant Adnaan dispatched the same to Johannesburg for me. Well done Econo-Heat! I so appreciate an entirely heated bed – YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I DO. I really like the product and am sorry that you do not produce them any longer; I will nurse the 'blanket for as long as I can – I was so ready to order another one. Big problem purchasing the same online is the diff's in electrical standards... Research leads to Woollies for a substitute but, while the quality is what one expects from Woollies, it is just not the same well-fitted, clean, crisp, quality cotton warmth … Thanks to Jacques, Lindsay & Adnaan!

Leaving us cold
<p>Good day</p> <p>We received a REPLACEMENT king size electric blanket after the one we bought at the start of 2014\'s winter, stopped working.</p> <p>We only received it in September 2014, so we used it for the first time during the winter of 2015 without any problems.</p> <p>When we started to use it during this winter - after it was left on the bed throughout all seasons - it burnt through the cover on two places. Where my mother\'s belly usually is, it didn\'t burn through the cover, but extreme heat burnt blisters on my mother\'s side.</p> <p>I have pictures of all these burns.</p> <p>As for my own electric blanket, I bought my second single bed electric blanket in two years and was relieved to see that the warrantee/guarantee is now 2 years.</p> <p>We were so excited about the safety features when we initially bought our blankets, but it seems they only have a life of 1 year, which is really not very economical.</p> <p>My parents are now very scared to use an electric blanket...</p> <p>I still use mine which is between the matress and a down filled bed pillow and trust that it will not soon or one day \"burn itself\" or my bed pillow.</p> <p>Thank you</p>

Leaving us cold

Great service Great warmth
Patty Assisted in a remarkable away. Our blanket was faulty but Patty managed to replace the blanket on the same day even tho' the place where we bought did not have stock. Thank you Patty and Econo Heat for the great service experience.

WOW I am impressed
I am a single mum, who was freezing cold so went out and bought heaters for the house. All but my one worked, I had driven all the way to builders warehouse in Contantia, plus paid the handy man to install them. I was so miserable and unhappy that I complained to builders warehouse, who could not do enough for me, plus contacted Econo-heat. In 2 days I had a brand new heater delivered to my door, and could not have had better service from anyone in my life. I am truly blessed to say how I have faith once again in companies in SA. WELL DONE !<br> I will always support your company and let everyone know my story. You are all fantastic .....thank you to Tim Patty and Marienda. You made my day !!!!<br>
