Terrible move/relocation.
Sadly a terrible move with the above company...ill advised and broken and damaged belongings. Also theft of many things .I have a list of all the belongings I am missing ...eventually I had a reply from the company...'they will look into it' and that appears to be the end of the matter.

Do not use Eddies Transport
We used Eddies Transport to move from our house, into storage, and into our new house earlier this year. As other family members had used Eddies Transport previously, we had no hesitation in using them. We were therefore in for a rude awakening when we unpacked to find how many of our belongings were scratched, dented and broken beyond repair. One very expensive piece of art which we had requested be specially crated was just bubbled wrapped and therefore broken, another piece of art was obviously not even bubble wrapped because it now has three holes in it, others have had their glass broken, a glass table is cracked, another wooden table is scratched, our fridge and freezer are now dented. The list goes on as we discovered more damaged items. The special “easy to remove tape” that they stuck on various items is not so easy to remove with some still stubbornly stuck to items of furniture. After much nagging, Liam Bayley, one of the owners of Eddies, met us at our house to look at what we had found and discuss remedial work in respect of the damages etc. but refused to be held accountable for any of the damages suffered. Notwithstanding this, he did undertake to bring an expert to address some repairs. Thereafter we heard nothing further but whenever we asked when we could expect his promised action to be carried out, there was always an excuse and after many months, he no longer responds to our WhatsApp messages or phone calls. It appears that the owners of Eddies are totally disinterested in customer service once the bills have been paid. Moral of the story: Do not under any circumstances use Eddies Transport. There are many other good moving companies around. Use them.

Highly recommended
I was dropped by another moving company 4 days before I was due to move and Eddies Transport immediately jumped in to help me on such short notice. Not only did I get brilliant service from the office, the gents that moved my stuff, were efficient, careful and did such a neat job. I would recommend them to everyone and anyone!!! It is so refreshing to deal with a company that is organised and helpful. There is not enough of that these days. Bravo!!!

Eddies transport is big no!
We use them to move our house. We struggled to get hold of them, constantly. The newly hired secretary screamed over the phone at us. They don't take any responsibly for goods handle with negligence.

SAD BUT TRUE

Back in 2014 Eddies Transport moved my household goods. I was very impressed with their price as well as their service.

I recently had to move again and without thinking twice got hold of Eddies, received a quote and placed the order.

Sadly, level of services change. The office staff did not know what they were doing. Contact details were wrong. Furniture items and appliances chipped and dented although they had been protected with bubble wrap. One cabinet was completely broken. Boxes that read "GLASS - PLEASE BE CAREFUL" placed at the bottom of the pile and stacked with heavier boxes.

This could all have been avoided if both the management and removal teams paid a little more attention and didn't take their income stream for granted.
