My nephew is a returning student and was at EEC springs campus yesterday ( 21 January) he went to register and was in the queue from 9:30 in the morning and at 12midday students were sent back home and told they were done working for the day where as the college closes at 16:30pm and was told he should return today (22 January) Today he went back to the campus and was there in queue for over two hours Nomvula Moloi who works in the registrations office the lady who was supposed to be assisting the students sat there on her laptop and indicated that she was busy and they should sit and wait for her to finish what ever she was doing on the laptop. When he notified me of the incident I requested for her details so as a parent I can call and enquire the lady then further proceeded to victimize him stating that she would not be assisting him any further because he asked for her personal details and he will see who will assist him with his registration process. As a parent I do not send my child to College to be a victim of bullying from adults who are employed by the college. He was then further told he cannot register N5 and N4 subjects concurrently on a full time basis but would have to do the two remaining N4 subjects before moving to N5 subjects , which based on my knowledge is not accurate.

Hi, My name is Stephen Charles Mohosane. I'm writing to you because I need you guys to help me in regards with my refund from the ewc tvet college. I was a student at the college during 2020/2021 period. I registered with the college and I was funded by TRC offices because of my late father, during that time I was supposed to be given money for laptop, transport, accommodation and meal of which I didn't get, they told me stories after stories. I ended up looking for a job and move to Port Elizabeth, fast forward last year August I got an sms telling me that I must come claim my funds and I do but I got a bad treatment and I went back again this year when the school were opening I got attuned again by one of the fiance stuff and got helped by Mpumelelo, They started by giving me wrong refund forms after some time they called me to tell me that the forms were outdated and gave me another forms to fill them and return them and I did so, but still the were asking for documents 1 by 1 and remember now im not working each and every cent count to me, okay I gave them everything thing even my mother's death certificate and I told them to ask for my file at TRC or Nesfas SSS which is as the college, from last year August till this day I haven't got my refund yet I emailed the principal telling him about my situation but he never responded to my emails instead his workers are the ones who responded to my messages. Can you please intervene please 🙏 Thank you for your time

I was a student at Ekuruleni east Tvet college did my N4 in 2016 second semester I happen to fail 2 modules I wrote them in 2017 first semester, I was told I don't have to apply for my n4 certificate it will be combined automatically. I did my N5 and N6 then I couldn't receive my certificates because of the N4 certificate. Went to a office I was told I was suppose to apply for it but now I only receive this information I don't have my statement anymore. I told them and then they Saud they will email Department of education I must come back for feedback, I went still nothing useful. Or I'll be told they will call me. It's been 6 years now I haven't received my certificate I can't even apply for in-service training because I don't have certificates. And Ekuruleni east Tvet college has failed me

Tried calling the number on their website and either goes to electronic response and hangs up when connected to a consultant or doesn’t go through. My brother was considered to enroll and told him to wait for an sms that was gonna confirm for him to attend and it’s been 5 months. They are so unprofessional and it shows that they don’t care. My brother has been going there with his money as he’s unemployed which shows they are unconcerned about other people’s future. I’m disgusted about their behaviour as we taking our time to contact them.

Good Day my name is Mbali I studied Marketing management at Ekurhuleni East College Brakpan Campus in 2021 I went to Brakpan to submit my application for my Diploma and i was told to go to their head office KwaThema Campus when I got there I was sent back to Brakpan they said I have to apply at the Campus where I studied at least they gave me forms and checked my documents. I then went back again in 2022 to Brakpan Campus to submit when I got there and submitted I was told that they would call me or email or send me an sms with my results. I am not forcing to get the Diploma all I want is some form of feedback if my failed or succeeded and reasons why in order to resubmit. I have called the Campus many time and have left my details with my name and number at the reception and have been told that they lady that deals with Diplomas will contact me till this day I have been waiting. I am being hindered from my progress in my career because of this all I want is to get feedback.

Ekurhuleni East TVET College (Springs Campus). This year is my Third year at this college and there is no consistency in the way they do things there. Every year there’s something different when registering, they will ask for more documents and send you home for the stupidest things and tell you to come back tomorrow. Registering there will literally take you three weeks, they cut lines on Fridays and tell you the college closes at 13:00. They never put up notices about the closing dates but they will put up notices to tell you certain applications are now closed (example: supplementary exams, NSFAS, part time or nated courses). When you are done registering and need to go make a student card you’ll find out that there’s nobody there on that day and you’ll have to come back again the next day for that. Ohh boy the textbooks, each year it’s either “there’s not textbooks at the moment” or “ohh we’ve run out of the textbook you want, come back next week” and at that time classes have already started. They will tell you to apply online but their website is so dizzy!! I mean their website is not user friendly and was last updated in 2017. BAD BAD BAD!! I would’ve chosen other campuses but Springs Campus is the only Ekurhuleni Campus that offers my course.
