Unprofessional agents
Not too happy with the overall service we received from them. We had to keep following up on alot of things. Received 1 screenshot of how the paid add is doing on Facebook. No feedback was received weekly like advised on how many people viewed property online. There was just no rush to do anything - we had to keep telling them we are in a hurry to sell due to moving abroad. When we saw them the first time we were told that Eugene will be out of the country for 2 weeks and we'll deal with Elmari for the first bit but it ended up that Eugene never handled our sale until it was already sold and with the lawyers. When we also asked if our price we want to go in with is fine they said it is and that we should get it easily but then within a week Elmari asked to lower price, so I think this is quite the trend for them to keep lowering price, she asked me a week after lowering the price to look at lowering again and we refused. Also looked into their other properties that they have listed and all has been reduced so I would rather look elsewhere for an agent to sell your place. Also needed to follow up a few times on when the COC will be done. Eugene became very pushy on getting the keys from us after we left the country, even phoned my mother without concent to try and get the keys from her when we specifically told him keys will be given once the place is registered in the jew owner's name. Overall I would not recommend them when it comes to selling a property.

DEPOSIT
I had a very bad experience with Eldu Properties I recently moved out of their unit , I left the place in a good condition & very clean. They also did an inspection I've been waiting for my deposit refund of R6380 only to get R2000. I misplaced the keys which I understand was supposed to be replaced. They went and looked for the most expensive lock smith and cleaning company. I will never recommend anyone to them the agents were very rude and lacked communication skills. They don't even deserve a 1star

I waited for the bus from 10am, talked to one of your incompetent agent who asked me to wait for the bus in Beach front durban, now at 1pm the agent don't want to reply to my massage anymore

ELDU BAD SERVICE
This is the most unprofessional service I have ever experienced, The agent that was suppose to help us was almost never available for calls, never answers her phone, We vacated the premises on 18/03/2019 and up to now we have not received our deposit, Please do not use Eldu Properties Richards Bay, you will regret if you choose them. Never available to answer phones when we lived there and still carries on till now,

Rental agents
I rented a flat through them. The inspection was done before moving in and all issues was raised and noted and none was fixed. On the day of moving out the inspection was done again and one issue was not stipulated in the initial inspection witch we have informed them about. 3 days later new tenants moved into this flat and luckely on that day I had to take the spare keys back to the flat and met the tenants. They conected up the washing machine and flooded the kitchen. The owner of the flats family member came to the flat sticking her nose in our business then ran to the owner telling him the whole kitchen cupboards need to be replaced. This was very un professional of the rental agents as they belived her story and the more I fought saying it was not us damaging the kitchen cupboards the more they insisted that I have to pay for the damage. Please people make sure when you do your inspections when renting from agents as they can cause big headaches for you.

Day light robbery
I was renting a flat in Arboretum Richards bay for 7 years. The agency that I first rented through was Theas estates and an amount of R3700 was paid to them as a rental deposit. This was in 2007. In 2010 ths agency moved away from Richards bay and my deposit was transferred to Eldu properties as they were taking over the rental of the flat. I was then asked by the owner to start paying my rent directly to him and not through Eldu properties and I started doing that. I moved out of that flat on the 30/08/2014 and to date I have not yet been refunded my deposit. We have tried speaking to the owner of Eldu properties, Elmari Du Plessis after searching for them as I have learnt that she is now in Kempton park concerning this and still she has not refunded the deposit. This is absolute robbery.
