Electro Service - poor service - no post repair warranty fulfillment
I contacted Electro Service to repair my upright AEG Arctis Frost freezer which had a compressor issue brought on by load-shedding. The technician attended to the fault and replaced the compressor on the freezer, but the compressor was and is making a load noise which was not there prior to failure. I subsequently re-contacted the technician via WhatsApp, tried him telephonically and even contacted his office number as well, and on each contact, they committed to come out and attend, but have not been since. The technician is no longer answering my calls. I now have to contact a different supplier to remedy the situation as this company is not responding, even though their repair is supposed to carry a 6 month warranty.

Rude Rip off!
I needed my washing machine fixed, from the offset I should have known not to even book a call out - the man that answered the phone was blunt and rude. He arranged sub-contractors to come out and look at my machine, which they fixed, but wanted to charge me an exorbitant amount for 10 minutes labour and a simple part. They went ahead without quoting me and asking for my approval. They specifically state on their website, call out is X amount, if you do not except he quote, the call out will be charged, if the quote is excepted, the call out falls away. When I phoned their manager to complain, again he was extremely rude. I was treated like and idiot (probably because I am a woman) and ripped off because if you have a Smeg machine, it is assumed that you have lots of money! I bought the part myself for R89, and they wanted to charge me R650 for the part and R850 for 10 minutes labour!! Daylight robbery!!!

Washing Machine - BOGUS REPAIR
Should have checked Hellopeter for reviews on this business. Check with the original manufacturer for a reputable repair company. Paid a fortune to have a washing machine repaired only for it not to be repaired - could have bought a new washing machine instead.

Please be careful of these Muppets. It's a front for an outfit called MV appliances. They rock up with no masks, disrespectful attitudes, did nothing to fix the issue with the appliance other than turn it on and stare at it with fascination for 15 minutes. After which they say nothing is wrong with the appliance and that they will not leave until they recieve proof of payment for the call out. I didn't mind the call out fee. The problem was they demanded payment into some other *****s private account. Although nothing will be done about this, please be wary of sending any requests through https://electroservice.co.za/

I should have check Hello Peter before booking a repair for my dishwasher. I booked a repair for my diswasher, all the guy had to do was replace the outlet pipe which he did do but proceeded to break the bottom plate of the dishwasher, the sides of the machine are bent. And the one side is loose. When you open the dishwasher it makes a s****ping sound it never made before. This is unacceptable and I would not recommend using these guys. He then proceeded to charge a fortune just to replace a pipe. Which I am sure includes the call out fee which they claimed would be waived if they do the repair work. I know that they really don't care and will not respond as they have not responded to other complaints but if other people can be careful when booking.
