This is for eliteplumber.co.za When I wanted an existing gas geyser connected to existing pipes in the roof for a bathroom we are busy renovating they told me the pipes don't exist anymore. They've been cut off and removed in the roof and to find them and reconnect they'd have to chop into the wall which would be really expensive and messy. So they sold me a new gas geyser installation with outside pipes for R17K instead. Additionally they added some 'cover' for the existing gas geyser to prevent it from not working in the rain. After that the geyser started cutting off once in a while when water was running. When I asked about that and confirmed it never happened before, I didn't get a response anymore. Which led me to asking other plumbers to attend to some more work needed for the bathroom. After the new plumbers did what was required we noticed that the new hot water pipe pulled in from the outside, was only connected to the shower, not the sink. With the bathroom fully tiled and basically done, we now had to look for the best solution to fix this. The plumber went into the roof and noticed the old hot water pipe was sticking out of the wall neatly blocked off and quoted me for a few meters copper pipes and reconnecting it to the old geyser, plus extending the old hot water pipe from the original bathtub tap to the shower mixer. That was all that would have been needed and could have been done without having to chop off brand new tiles again. But why be happy with a quick half a day job if you can sell an expensive geyser installation... And then they installed the hand shower outlet above the shower mixer. Never seen something like that in my life before.. When I informed Elite Plumber about this it took 3 messages before I got the answer he will revert back to me shortly, but is trying to find out what's going on from the plumber. No response to my follow up the next day and today, 3 days later, still nothing

My wife found this company online and asked me to check them out - I searched on Google and saw they had 3 x 5-star reviews. My wife phoned them on a Friday and they seemed professional. They said they would try and source a certain plumbing part, which they allegedly found and my wife told them to go ahead and do the fitting next week. While she was talking with them I realised Google had shown me the incorrect company that had 'Elite' as part of its name. I then went to Hello Peter and saw all these ********** reviews of Elite Plumbing 24/7! I told my wife to phone the owner back immediately - so 3 minutes later she phones him back to cancel next week's job but he says he has already driven to the store and bought the item - IN 3 MINUTES!? He then sends us an invoice of R850 for transport costs with veiled threats if we don't pay. Well, he won the battle but lost the war - he scored a paltry R850 but how much business is he going to lose when you read all these terrible reviews. I'm not going to post on social media about him - he will reap what he sows. "The LORD will take revenge and punish them; the time will come when they will fall; the day of their doom is near." On the 06th November 2023 around 09h00am I contacted this company with a geyser and toilet problem I had at home. So we scheduled an appointment for 15h00 for them to come see what the problem is and fix. They arrived here started fixing the problems firstly without discussing with me what we are facing and how the costs would be evaluated. Oooh well they fixed and told me to check hot water after an hour or so, then the toilets were in perfect condition. My first complaint was the invoice itself after completion of the work. Ooh well because I did not want to start an argument I asked for banking details of which they insisted that of its a different bank payment must be cleared immediately. I did as they asked and they left. On the 07th November 2023 we woke up at 05h30am only to find out that we have no electricity. And I realized that it was definitely not loadshedding but our power has tripped. So I thought it's just something that I can fix, just pull earth leakage up and all is well, unfortunately not. I then took my phone and sent a watsap at 06h14am hoping that as soon as they see this message from a client they assisted yesterday, they would call us. No call no text message from them. At 08h31am I took my phone again and called them, Rudy picked up and I explained my problem to him, he then advised me what to do which was exactly what I tried early that morning but did not work. He then told me that the problem I'm coming with now is not his problem I must try to call an electrician to come and assist me. So to me it came as a surprise that he wS not even willing to come to my house at that time and observe first but just quick to refer the problem to someone else after he charged me a fortune. Now I must pay someone else. I advised him that I will not call anyone for this problem but will be waiting for him to come back and fix. He then advised me that he will come over withing 30min. He then arrived 1 hour later, he went to our main switch box and told me that definitely this is not his problem. I asked him how come when they arrived here we never had a problem with this but just after they worked on our geyser now we have electrical problems. I then advised him to climb back to the geyser and disconnect whatever they fixed yesterday. He agreed and to my surprise after the disconnection our power was restored. So I then told him that this clearly explains our problem. He still wants to disagree but it is just that. He then suggested that he is going bck to his supplier to get a new element, why even suggest that if he was so sure that the problem was not his. Believe you me he left my house at 10h30am and he is still not back. Leaving us with no power for the day. This seems like an organized ****. What they do is fix the problem but knowing that something will go wrong the following day and either you will call them back and get charged or they will refer you to one of their associates who will also **** you money. And you will still be left with the problem. Their contact number is 061 704 3538 and website is www.eliteplumber.co.za

My geyser was pouring a lot of water from the safety valve. Being the evening I called Elite Plumbers to attend to the issue. I made the mistake of not being on site at the investment property when they arrived and performed their *********** repair. I am to this day not sure they even did anything but proceeded to charge me twice over. The first time they came, they claimed to have replaced the thermostat, gasket, and another part. This cost 2450 ZAR. A few days later the geyser was doing the exact same thing again. I called them back to have a look, and they claimed it must be the pressure relief valve, so they apparently replaced that and billed me 2450 ZAR again. The following day, the geyser still was purging water through the safety valve. I called them a third time (jokes on me) and they said there must be an electrical fault causing the thermostat to pop. I proceeded to call my electrician and he confirmed there was nothing wrong with the electrical wiring or DB in the house. This cost me R1000 call out and check from my electrical gent. I called Elite Plumbers again asking them what is going on, they sent their gent out to look at the geyser, we could not replicate the issue; however the following day the geyser was purging again. I asked Elite plumbers to please send me the invoice for the thermostat they replaced so I could go get it switched out from warranty, they agreed to send the invoice but never followed through. I asked my electrician if he knows someone who can fix the issue. He said sure, billed me R965, replace the thermostat and I have not had a problem since. Do not trust Elite Plumbers, they are ****mers.

Do NOT use Elite Plumbers - they are absolutely incompetent. They sent a plumber to come and fix my toilets - the only thing he did was replace 2 pipes and my toilet is still leaking and they have refused to assist me further. They are extremely incompetent and seriously lack on customer service. I had to get a completely different plumbing company to assist me.

The owner does not know what a deposit is, although I paid the deposit of R1500 he insisted I pay the full amount of R3500, which I did but he did such a horrible job that it started leaking a few days later and now he is avoiding my calls and messages
