Transporter requested subcontracting work. On the surface all seem legit, with a nice new truck and everythinh, but once you allow them close to your customers the problems start. They collect the load, and after that the owner tells you that he does not have diesel, and holds you load (and name) ransom for diesel money, after a 30 day payment contract was entered into. Owner calls you on all hours of the day, asking to borrow money, as Edan Traders is on their way to reposess his trailer (with your load on it) Also proceeds to squatting in your client's premises, hounding them for more loads, and tarnishing your name to such an extend, where your customer asks you to please have this subcontractor removed from site. Does not use tarpaulins in the rain, as the owner claims "he did not know the loads are not allowed to get wet". Begs, and then threatens you, trying to go on a "naming and shaming" mission before payment date, even though payments are 100% up do date and in terms, in order to solicit money earlier. Looks very proffessional from the outside, and will surely be good for small once-off loads, but not advisable to be subcontracted in the bigger league, with blue chip customers.
