Empire food trucks - stay away

If you are looking at purchasing a food truck, stay far far away from these guys. The owner Iain is one of the most illusion characters we have come across and the products, just not what the are advertised to be. We paid for a “new food truck” on refurbished chassis a year and a half ago. After the deadline was way over shot, a very very used and dilapidated truck was delivered with old cooking oil, grease, and dirt caked in the inside. Lights were cracked from the heat and looked 10 years old. We had to fly up to Johannesburg to deal with it as we were not getting answers. They then delivered another one which was better however items were missing and never delivered as promised. A year later, with numerous promises and still no registration papers have been delivered so we aren’t able to register the vehicle in our name, apply for permits nor register the thing. To this day, we are still waiting for an honest answer from the owner who is uncontactable. Steer clear at all costs! You will regret it.
