Sad sad service Emthanjeni Local Municipality De Aar/Hanover
I wish a negative star can be given. No service or the least can be given ******* officials and workers. You have to give meals so they can do there jobs they get paid for. So they can come out and pull our drains old sewage system, communities many have complained. Somethings needs to be done. How does one run your business if basic things that's our constitution right.

I wish a negative star can be given. No service or the least can be given ******* officials and workers. You have to give meals so they can do there jobs they get paid for. So they can come out and pull our drains old sewage system, communities many have complained. Somethings needs to be done. How does one run your business if basic things that's our constitution right.

IRP5 battle
My mom has been struggling from August to get my papers correctly filed with Sars because of the outstanding irp5 that needs to be submitted electronically and Emthanjeni kept on saying she should do it herself whilst Sars has made it clear that it is their duty not hers and they can't even accept the one from her before the employer submit electronically. we.tried everything to resolve this matter but it remains unresolved. people that we spoke with 1.Mrs Tshaya 2.Mrs Jack 0536329100 their office line. you can even lodge a complaint via a call .the Municipal Manager email address;Visser@emthanjeni.co.za

IRP5 battle

Incompetent Emthanjeni Staff
This Municipality of Emthanjeni is filled with people who do not know they work my Mother has been requesting from them her needed tax papers to submit for her tax returns of the money she won on a legal case she had with this Municipality and instead of awarding her the mentioned money tax free they taxed my mother and they didn't even do a good job whereby they only taxed first payment and they didn't declare it with SARS since July 2019 my mother has been calling back and forth with these people yesterday the financial clerk by the name of Tshaya told my mom that she had forwarded her the IaRP5 she should go to SARS and submit after almost 6 months of fighting back and forth they tell her to go submit the papers herself after they did not do they jobs proper .......My mom has been unemployed and the only money that rightfully belongs to her can not come to her cause of incompetent people that are hired cause they know someone or because they give out something to get the job....It's December already can someone please talk to the people of Emthanjeni Municipality to pay my mom what is rightfully hers cause she has gone for legal advices but to no avail

Service delivery and corruption
In March 2014. After I complain to Municipal officials (office) about my neighbor building a fence in my yard and no action was taken till today. After intense investigation my neighbor confessed /confirm that she and her husband was given part of my property by Mr. Lubbe which he is a municipality employee and a town planning manager. Many times I have asked the municipality manager to ask Mr Lubbe to come and sort out the mess he created but till today no one came here to sort it out or even send a letter instructed to my neighbor to demolish the fence they build in my yard. I asked Municipality Manager Visser why is he not doing anything about it, as the Municipality is aware of my neighbor violated building lines or encroaches. His answer was it is a private matter between two neighbors. I would like to know why the Municipality has town planning laws that govern the property. After all, it was municipality employee gave my yard away to my neighbor and the position of the building lines is determined by the applicable town planning legislation.

Encroachment
Since 2014 March 13 I spoke to the municipality about my neighbor who extended his yard into my yard I am still Waiting for municipal of Emthanjni I tried to speak to the municipal manager at the head office Mr Isak Visser on ********** 100, the only thing he do best is to give me the run around. Here is the reference # 5/5/B On the 14 November 2017 I spoke to Mr Lubbe on this ********** 465 and he told me to go to and see environmental people that not his job he is always in the meetings
