Installation was fine and geyser does work, but it is actually not the correct solution. The solar tube geyser shouldn't have been installed facing north as it overheats every time there is a 30 degree day. (the electric element is set to never turn on) so I have to climb on the roof regularly to reset it. If I head away for the weekend so I don't bath on the Saturday night it gets to hot and the safety valve sprays directly onto the neighbors verandah.
I should have done more research, but I would have liked to have had the fact that it was going to overhead regularly in the summer explained ahead of time. And had the option to get the covers to reduce efficiency or have the system installed with a different orientation.
