What a bad experience received from this company in Roodepoort, was referred by someone from Tonneau covers within the same vicinity to take my car there for mechanical fixing, after they checked, they confirmed that there is a leakage of water and oil and they charged me a huge amount as they stated that they have bought new parts from Ford only to find out that the parts used were secondhand parts as after collecting my car, it was worse than before I took it there, the pipes were bursting, water was coming off and the oil was still leaking, the same day I collected the car even before I got to my work place, I phoned them and they said I must arranged a tow vehicle to towed it there, I did the same as I was willing for my car to be fixed, after a week they told me that the car is ready, I went back to fetch it, couple of days after that the pipe burst again and leakage of oil is still there, speedometer not working, and when I asked the owner Ernie, he said the car requires an auto electrician to check it but I said to him please arrange to come and towed the car back to your service centre to fix it , he refused and gave me stories and afterwards decided no to take my calls or respond to my what’s up, I organised a towing company to tow the car from the place where it got stuck to my house, I kept phoning and sending what’s up with no luck up until I made a plan to get my car fixed. I paid him a lot of money, over R20 000.00 with nothing done on the car. I need help to get my money back. What a bad service I received.

Terrible service, Took back my car 3 times to fix issues. Clutch still makes a terrible noice and stated slipping 2 months in. Paid in full, now owner just shrugs his shoulders. Getting a honest mechanic to look at putting in a new clutch just to find out Ernies Service Centre put in the cheapest clutch available on the market but charged me for a decent kit. If you want poor service and poor quality feel free to waste your money and support them.

Took me Suzuki Grand vitara in. Re-did the head and went to collect the car. Car struggled to start. (He told me it was the transponder key. And the car doesnt even have a transponder key) On the way back home the Car stopped dead. (Engine noises etc) Turns out the engine seized completely. Ernie does not want to take responsibility for his work. And doesn't want to repay me the money I spent. Under no circumstances take your car there. Knowing what i know now I wouldn't even let them change a wheel let alone "look" at my car's engine. You have been warned

I would like to file a serious complaint against Ernie’s Service Center and Cylinder Head Service, on 100 Main Reef Rd, Technikon, Johannesburg 1724. I had taken my car to Ernie to have it fixed as it was permanently stuck in “limp mode” and Ernie said he would be able to sort it out for me. Long story short he had the car for about 3 days and then said I could come pick it up. So I did and I also paid him R5849. I then left and about two hours later the car packed up again and had the same fault. So I took the car back to Ernie, he then let me know that he wouldn’t be able to fix it as he didn’t know how. But he is refusing to give me my money back even though he never fixed the problem he quoted me for. In fact he fixed nothing. He is a common thief. Never ever go here.
