Essential Dental - not just your everyday dental practice!
Who enjoys going to the dentist? I surely do not. However, in the years that I have been going to Essential Dental, I have always been treated with respect, kindness, and compassion - receiving the best treatment with excellent, results. The dentists are friendly and know thier job, and Shandré and Tesna (finance and reception) are kind, patient and professional! Also, Shandré makes me laugh with her light humour coupled with extreme professionalism - and we all know that laughter is the best medicine! This is the first dental practice that I have gone to that I have been able to build relationships/friendships with, despite the anxiety associated with having to visit a dentist!! I highly recommend this practice.

30 Aug 2022, 08:01 Complaint Good day, I fell and broke my nose and 6 front teeth in April 2022. Went for nose op and then to get teeth fixed. Prior to the dental appointment I communicated that this needs to be settled by my trauma fund from my medical aid. This means the medical practitioner should obtain and use the correct medical aid codes. Each and every time I followed up I emphasized that the correct codes must be used. Long story short, Dr Baard started working on my teeth, grinding all 6 front teeth off, and mounding temporary teeth as well as imprints for lab to make make new implants. They did not care to obtain the correct codes. Now I am stuck with temporary yellowing teeth that are starting to break. The lab bill is still not settled. And since May 2022 I am trying to get Essentisl Dental yo sort this out or yo get back to me. To date no response. Even after numerous requests that dr Baard must please contact me.
