I'm very disappointed with this financial institution. I was supposed to finish with my loan repayment October last year. I called to confirm the consultant told me I'm not done still need to pay for the extra interest rates because they never added on the agreed repayment. Okay it made sense and I was meant to pay November, December and January now it's February they deducted the same amount again and my last statement showed I'm owing R800. People beware they even changed from real people to evolution *****. I'm still gonna take this further

Poor service from evolution consultants
My late father had a funeral policy with real people (which is now Evolution Finance). He had forgotten about the policy although they still were debiting his bank account until December 2023. Upon receiving a notification of the lapsed policy on the 02/02/2024 He tried contacting the company to find out how much was the amount in arrears and no one could assist him. He went as far as sending an email to the company putting in a claim (death benefit claim) for my late mother who passed on 2019 December. My father untimely past on August 2024 without any response to his enquiry or claim. Evolution takes advantage that most its clients are not residing near their offices (East London) and dismiss them just by saying they will get back to you. I today had a personal encounter with two of their agents who told me they will call me back after retrieving my father's profile. And yet the day is over. I can not fathom how elderly people feel when people ment to assist them in painful moments just treat them as numbers and promise they will return their calls. The frustration of paying for something for years on vain.

I am so disappointed and hurt by Evolution Finance I have been paying the installment of R 2 609 each and every month without fail for 2 years, I June my statement reflected R 2 216 as my last installment as a closing balance, they deducted R 2 609 again and that lady who was assisting me told me I still owe R 2 500. When I asked her what is it for she told a story about an Interest that is not making sense. I am going to report them to the OMBDS man cos they are robbing me now. If that doesn’t work they will hear from my laws and I will make them trend on Social media for this **** they are running.

In June 2022 I went to Built it to get a building loan. I signed up for the 36 months loan of R80 000 where I received building material and cash from Evolution Finance. They deduct R3799.00 every month from my account and I have never failed to pay. My contract states that 36 months ends May 2025 therefore expect last deduction to be so. However when I called Evolution Finance to verify that no more deductions should be made the lady on the phone said I have R11 000 in areas and they will continue to debit from my account. She stated that the loan repayments fluctuate as per interest rate and I was sent sms's to adjust repayments according to interest rate. I was shocked. I checked my phone and I have never received such an sms. The sms's I received were just telling me to check my statement. I have in total paid R136 764 for this R80 000 loan. It's enough, *****ing R11 000 more from me is ******** and I will take this to the highest Ombudsman and court until Evolution Finance stops robbing people and is closed down for good.
