False advertising to say the least they say we can do part time classes and after registration now full time is forced upon you! Their student accommodation only accommodates a mattress sharing with three in a room. I waited 6 months for a uniform that was delivered today and I had to pay delivery the shirt is three times my size not to mention not what I paid for no refund on my registration they run this school like a ****a shop to say the least. Please shut this house down it’s not a school very unprofessional not even a Badge on the shirt my granny could’ve made this shirt for me I’m disgusted with all the false advertising wondering how this school is accredited nationally oh no!

Good day I would like to file a complaint about an Illegally operating school that is not registered with the DOE and is not accredited with service SETA . They lack professionalism and ethics which has costed many students a large sum of money for a qualification that is not recognized in work forums which is a clear indication of scamming. The school has participated in false advertising and wrongful use of finances seeing as though students were told to pay in cash and not into the school account. We have taken it upon ourselves as students to inform the police and those in authority about this but there seems to be a delay which is hindering us from getting our resources back because of the inconvenience and fraud that took place. Thus bringing about awareness for those who might have wanted to enroll in this school. This matter should be dealt with as if immediate effect. We would appreciate it if you could assist us with with the processes moving forward. List of complaints : • Marking system - it is noted that the pass rate is 65% according to the school, however, students getting more than the pass rate are made to repeat. The marking of exam sheet was marked with tipex on it. The students are being unfairly failed just to make money with the rewrite money. •Duration of Training - our course is a three months course, we also pay for three months, however we are made to graduate and submit our protfolio of evidence way before time, this inconveniences most students who have not been taught everything they paid for yet they are to be marked on that at the final exam. • Insufficient Staff members/teachers - There are not enough teacher - we have one teacher alternating between three classes. We do not have her attention as she goes in between all the classes. •Garankuwa "school" - has no lights or water 90% of the time when we attend, thus we were only taught facial twice and some students never got the opportunity to learn how to do facials. •Unhygienic Environment - There is no water at the Garankuwa school, thus the toilets don't not flush, this makes it difficult for students who need to use the toilet. •Qualification of Teachers - we have noted that the school uses former students (some who graduated the previous year) to teach new students, we feel that they are not qualified to teach and do not have the correct credentials to be teaching. •Cash payments - some payments the school insists that we pay cash and not into the school bank account, we would like an explanation as to why that is so. •Bullying / Intimidation of students - the teacher targets certain students and rudely bullies them, the school WhatsApp group is another platform where students are bullied both by management and teachers, students are discouraged from enquiring about anything of concern and threatened that the principal will target them and they will fail. •Brow shaping & Tint - students were "taught" how to perform this once and only so that photos can be taken for the protfolio. • Lack of communication - we were only told a week in advance that our protfolio is due, ma'am Suprise says she "forgot" to check our time table. Often, times and place for the exam is communicated the night before through the WhatsApp group. •Changing of Protfolio Nails - we were initially given sets of nails from teacher Willow, students went and purchased products accordingly, only for the nails to be changed a week before the protfolio is due! •False adverti*****t - from the adverti*****t, were were meant to believe that all fees are a certain amount, only to be told that a further additional R900 is expected for the kit. And an additional R150 for a golf shirt was suddenly made "compulsory" after the fact. • COVID Regulations - COVID Regulations are not followed as we are made to sit at very close proximity to one another on a daily bases, often sharing one table (facing each other) We are not being scan before you enter class to check temperatures Nor sensitize before you enter a class room •Kit/Sample - The "kit" we received is samples, with one colour of everything and definitely not worth the amount paid. •Force buying - students are forced to buy all products from the school, irrespective of whether you have the product already or not, the products the school sells is at an exorbitant amount just to make profit. • Time keeping during exams - the teachers are always late for exams. •Consultation form - students threatened to fail because they did not ask for consultation forms during the facial exam is confusing as consultation forms were never given for nail tech exam and students "passed" the massage exam without using the consultation forms. •School attendance during public holidays/weekends - our contract states that school days are Monday to Friday, yet students are being forced to attend during public holidays/weekends. • Attendance Days - students attendance was cut from 5 days to 3 days a week so as to accommodate new students at the expense of old students. • Garankuwa school - the fact that students were expected to travel to Garankuwa for massage and facial training was not communicated in time and only mentioned after registration. No transport was arranged for students to get there, resulting in many students being unable to attend. The school is in an isolated area and no public transport reaches there, resulting in addition transport having to be arranged at another fee. •Inappropriate behavior or comments from the teacher and principal • Favoursim •lack of students infrastructure (students write exams on massage beds ) .•We being moved from floor to floor from class to class with no explanation. We know school is at floor 6 now we floor 7 Your help would be appreciated Kind regards
