My board of executive members rented a vehicle from this company to be paid for at the counter upon collecting the vehicle. When they arrived at the collection point, they were requested to pay an additional R 25,000 for the rental and were refused to be assisted, and the lady who assisted them at the CPT international airport was extremely rude and disrespectful and chased them out. They had to leave the airport in an Uber as the people refused assistance.

I booked a flight and car rental. The flight was fine but when I went to pick up the car they required a credit card and I only had a debit card. And they would not accept my phone's Apple Pay. When I requested a refund for the car there was no way to do that online and no way to contact anyone at Expedia. I disputed the charge with Citi Bank but Expedia refused to reimburse me. Worst support ever. I will cancel my Expedia account, which I've used for over a decade.

I booked a multi city flight through expedia for(29/12/2024) From Nice-Cape Town and then (26/01/2025)Johannesburg-Nice. I booked my flights on the 14/11/2024. I was working on a yacht in France at the time. I suffered quite a bad spine injury on duty on the 18/11/2024. I got a doctors letter that stated I would only be able to fly in First Class with medical assistance. I submitted a request for a refund through expedia. It was denied. I was then contacted by one of their agents(04/12/2024) that informed me I submitted the wrong request and helped me through the process of sumbitting the correct one(Exception refund). Up to this point they were very helpful(In the meantime, on 04/12/2024, I was repatriated by my employer on a flight with medical assistance.) My second refund request got denied on 09/12/2024, but I was assured that they would contact Air France and discuss the refund because it states that you can get a refund for medical reasons on their(Air france's) website. They then submitted another request which was denied. At this point I asked an agent on the 14/12/2024 to assist me in moving my flights to a later date since I cannot get a refund. Also, I could not change my flights by myself on the app or their website. It just said to contact an agent every time I tried. (Neither on Air France's website or Expedia's). The agent informed me that there would be a 200 euro fee to move my flights which I had no problem with. I went back and forth with the agent and we agreed on dates that she can move my flights to. She said she would move my flights and asked if I needed help with anything else. I said "No. Thank you for your help." and that was that. The day before my flight on the 28/12/2024 I still haven't heard anything and followed up via email. An agent then told me I was going to lose my fllights because I didn't cancel or move my flights and I would be a "No show" according the the airline. I was furious since this was the 5th or 6th agent that I have spoken to at this point. She said she will see what she can do and once again it just hit a dead end with her saying she is waiting for the airline to respond. I have given up now. I paid over 1200 euros for the flights which is now just gone even though I raised the issue a month before my departure date. I hate feeling so helpless. I WOULD NOT USE EXPEDIA FOR ANYTHING EVER AGAIN. STAY FAR AWAY.

I have a South African property listed on Expedia. Their support for South African guest houses is nil. You can only talk to a robot / AI and cannot get answers. I have been struggling to get payment from them for over a month. There is absolutely no South African contact numbers of customer service. And unfortunately there are many offs**** travellers who book through Expedia. Disaster. Do not use them as your partner of choice.

Please do not use Expedia if you are potentially needing a refund! I have been waiting for 2 months to get a refund from them and they keep on telling me it’s not their fault and that I must just wait! Absolutely ********** with handling money and I won’t be booking with them again anytime soon!

I booked accommodation vio.com which goes into Expedia. Never received confirmation, however my bank account still shows pending which means the merchant hasn't taken the money as yet. I contacted Capitec to cancel the transaction, which they tell me I need to get Expedia to send me confirmation. The Bank says i need to wait 14 days before the money can come back into the account. What happened to 48 hours. I called the Resort was I was going to stay at, not a care in the world that you can't get your money. Has anyone ever tried calling Expedia, what a joke, everything leads to a reservation number which I still haven't received up till today. People just don't want to help. Very frustrating.

What a pathetic lot! I booked a cruise through them. My email address change but they can’t change it so I can’t get notifications. Their virtual assistant and customer service say they don’t have authority to work on Cruises! I’ve decided to cancel as my deposit was deducted but now I can’t get help. I can’t cancel because you can’t do it on the app or online an nobody has authority to change an email or cancel a cruise.
