I recently decided to cancel my connection with Fire Stream. The service has been terrible since I joined with them a couple years ago. The final problem that pushed me to cancel was having my money ******. They changed bank account details and did not inform me. So I paid and eventually had my account suspended due to an unpaid bill. They refused to allocate the funds in their second account to the new account and told me I had to contact my bank and ask the bank for a refund. Which I did, and unsurprisingly the refund was refused again. This happened at the end of the month when I had no cash, and they were unwilling to reactivate the account while I tried to sort out the refund. Which I never got. So I had to find extra money I didn't have to pay a bill a second time. The bills they sent after this situation still have the "wrong" banking details on it. So I am sure they are catching out plenty of their customers with this. When I cancelled I was told the line would be deactivated at the end of Feb. Because I had to wait out one full month with them. Which was almost two months I was stuck with them since I asked to cancel at the beginning of Jan. On the 28th I followed up to see if the line was still going to be deactivated. To no reply. On the 29th, they did cut my service. But never put in a cancellation request with Metro Fiber. I have sent over 20 emails to Fire Stream to figure out what is going on, and I have received 0 response from them. I eventually heard back from the ISP I want to change to, and they told me that Fire Stream has only set the cancellation date at the end of March. Effectively holding my line hostage for another full month. Where I will have 0 service to use and will not be allowed to activate a new provider. And that Fire Stream REFUSES to cancel it sooner. I am concerned for anybody who ends up with this ISP.

DO NOT USE !!!! They do not keep to their word and agreements.They said I should make payment then only they will release my line which I did . Then they said my isp should initiate the line to be released which they did and then they declined it . After payment was made they been ignoring my emails . My current ISP requested for the line to be released for the second time and they say i haven't made payment and the line will only be released when account is settled yet i did make payment and they acknowledged it and yet they continue to ignore my emails. Theres no support to speak to directly. This is a **** . They will mess you around . Very unprofessional. Never keep to their agreements.Only want money and they ignore you afterwards . How do you run a business this way ? Geez I'm beyond disbelief . THIS IS A **** AND ITS RUN BY A BUNCH OF LYING ASSHOLES . IM SITTING WITHOUT INTERNET FROM THE 3RD OCTOBER AND THEY WILL NOT RELEASE MY LINE TO GET ANY OTHER ISP EVEN THOUGH THEY AGREED. THEY BEEN LYING TO MY CURRENT ISP .I SENT PROOF OF PAYMENT AND REPORTED THEM TO THE NECESSARY ORGANIZATION. THIS IS ******* .

They sent me wrong invoice and I have requested them to correct while they don't reply me then they just stop the service without notifying me , after 2-3days , they rep**** that the service was cut off because of no pay.. then I requested to stop the service, they let me pay 2 months fee and pentaly , total 897 rand till end of June , I paid that as we need the service while they didnot restore the service and nobody reply our emails again... and still no service after 3days now.........really dispointed for their service... Also they charged me 599/m while their price is 379/m ... unfaithful !

How Firestream remains in business is beyond me. The “support” emails after hours and clearly manned by ill trained, Unequipped agents and are in no position to resolve a query! Internet has down 40 hours and counting with no hope of resolution. SHOCKING AFTER SALES SERVICE. BE WARNED

The worst fibre service provider on earth. Just don't even bother trying. no support, they don't reply e-mails, don't answer your call, no location. I regret having a contract with them. My internet has been down for 2 days and no response. Was in the middle of a virtual meeting and internet just disappeared, damaging my work!! And worse, my cell reception is poor and can't even use my cell data effectively! My account is fully paid!! Paying R1300/month for **** service!! This is a nightmare! Who can help on a matter like this!!
