With over 34 years of industry experience, her knowledge, professionalism, and productive teaching style set a very high standard from the start. Karin was not only our teacher but a dedicated mentor who walked the journey with us. She created opportunities to learn, grow, and even laugh, while ensuring we stayed focused and committed to the work. Her constant encouragement, hands-on guidance (online and in-class), and genuine pride in seeing students successfully graduate made the learning experience both motivating and empowering. I have finished the in-class Caregiving course at First Class Caregiving, and honestly… it’s been life-changing. Karin Westphal isn’t just a teacher, she’s a mentor who truly cares about her students. She explains the skills clearly and in full detail, but she also explains to you in depth about why it matters. Her passion, energy, and dedication are impossible not to feel, and it makes you want to give your all too! This course is more than just caregiving techniques. You leave knowing how to care with purpose, how to channel your emotions constructively, and more about yourself along the way. Karin sets a high standard, but it’s always wrapped in compassion.
