The process to buy balloons is terrible. There’s an enormous queue with zero emphasis on social distancing just to place your order, during which you have no idea what prices are. Get to the end to be told that there is no stock of the two smaller transparent balloons. So order the large. No information about it possibly delaying the order. Pay. Check if balloon team needs proof of payment. No. Go elsewhere to shop. Return. Nothing. Shop again. Return. Nothing. Ask, nearly get handed wrong balloons. Turns out my order is in some pile and everyone after me has long left. Manager was good enough to help nudge it along but the chap behind the counter was not pleased at this. Zero interest in the customer. I will go anywhere else from now on.

Their website shown that the party decor i required was in stock on Saturday. I drove all the way from Florida to Woodmead on Sunday morning at 11 only to arrive and find they had no stock. I walked out of the store with only a party banner. Another lady at the store was complaining about the exact same thing. Then I was told by the manager to log onto the website on Monday at 3 as they receiving stock in the morning and would have the website updated by then. Did just that and still no stock. What a dam waste of my time and energy! Absolutely ridiculous! Get your stock and website sorted out!

I visited an iParty store in Bloemfontein, Westdene yesterday. My limit for purchase was exceeded, I then requested to do an EFT. I was told it would be an issue as it would need to clear and made to wait for about an hour just to make a payment. Which I eventually did. I requested they order some cases for me and bill me as it was an emergency. I never got any response the whole day and had to call them today. I told them I might be going to Jhb and might maybe go to the supplier myself (which I am aware might not be an option as they are in business themselves) but I felt they were not treating the matter with the urgency it required. I was told to wait for the manager to come back from a meeting. I contacted the Langenghoven branch and requested the cases, they told me they might have some in store but I needed to drive there personally as they can’t get pictures. I told them driving there only to find they don’t have would be futile and requested to send one of them to check during lunch then. They blatantly refused and said I need to drive there.

After placing an online order for party decor, i realised that I has made a typing error with the delivery address. Contacted Partyspot who responded within the hour and had the error rectified. Item delivered very quickly. Very refreshing to receive such good customer service.

I write this response disgusted at how I was treated at the PartySpot in woodmead. On Friday 04.10.2019, I went to the party spot and paid for balloons to be blown and prepared for me to collect on Saturday 05.10.2019. A guy that helped was a guy with dreads, I just don’t recall his name. I arranged to collect the balloons at 11:45 on Saturday as I was heading to a babyshower. When I got to the party spot on Saturday, I gave my slip and the guys started to look for the balloons. To find the balloons were not prepared or rather they came back to me to say they can’t find them. Im sure 3 or them were looking and they all were making signs with their shoulders that they don’t know where the balloons were. They then approached a colored guy by the name of Jonathan, please note I am not sure of his name as they kept on giving me different names. The colored said they must fetch the balloons and redo them. I am standing right there hearing this. I then asked, you won’t even apologize guys for the inconvenience didn’t I am now late for my reservation for the babyshower. The guy laughed. I asked for the manager, he said he was the manager. Shocked as I was, I asked him, are you not going to apologize and he started laughing. I said to him; if you are really the manager you need further training as this is not how you treat a customer. As I walked away, furious because of these people laughing at my face, I grabbed the unblown balloons that he was busy and threw them on the floor! Oh my God, this guy came around wanting to beat me up, all the guys behind the counter had to stop him and carry him to the back because he was fuming with anger and clearly wanted to hit me. In the time we live in our country for gender based violence issues, I am appalled that one of your employees had the nerve to even try and hit me. What would have happened if those guys did not stop him! He later walked right upto my face, threatening me and he again had to be pulled away. I was so scared as this is a man and this is a shop I always come to, how will I now shop there where I am scared that some guy could hit me? I spoke to a guy called Sello who tried to apologize but none of them did anything to reprimand this Jonathan. I have a video where you see him taken to the back. You have surveillance as well, please watch it. I am disgusted and appalled that this young man even had the guts to act like this. I want an apology from you and I want him to be reprimanded accordingly. Even dismissed as clearly he has anger issues. No man should get angry at a woman like that. I will be coming to the store to speak to management. I will not rest until something is done with that Jonathan. I have a video just Incase I am getting his name wrong.
