Extremely disappointed. I went to Ford N1 city for my yearly service. One week later I was in a close call serious accident and had to be towed home due to my front right wheel. Luckily it was a Friday because I went straight to a mechanic the next day. The registered (well-known) mechanic confirmed my brake pads were on 2% and in dangerous condition. When I reported this to Ford the Monday. They accused me of lying and asked me to get a written report from that mechanic as proof. I immediately did this and the mechanic was more than happy to write a full detailed report. I then brought this to Ford but they STILL refused to admit the service was not done correctly. This is after we had proof in writing and with photo’s from the Saturday morning (showing the brake pads and caliper) Obviously I needed to repair ALL the damages now caused with Ford. When they sent me the quote, I was shocked at how much I had to pay. They did take off labour and gave a 10% discount on all parts for all the inconvenience but to me that just showed how guilty they were. With the discount, I still had to pay close to R7000.00 for a mistake they were responsible for. To make matters worse, I had a meeting with the service manager Gert Engelbrecht and general manager Craig Van Der Heever as the repair process was delayed so much. I met with them to share my dissatisfaction with the service and treatment. They emphasized and assured me they will make sure it is sped up. I also asked them if they can reduce the quote. They confirmed they will see what they can do further. When my vehicle was FINALLY repaired after MANY calls from my side asking for updates, they told me to pay the FULL original amount. When I asked to pay over two instalments or just not all at once they completely refused. I was SO upset as they were holding my vehicle and refusing to give my car back. I asked them to call Craig Van Der Heever (manager) down to assist. When he came down, he all but laughed in my face and said “well, if you don’t want to pay the full amount, we can always remove the new parts and put the old damaged parts back on” he said this with a smile on his face. I was absolutely disgusted that this is how they treat their clients. There were also two staff members (Gert and Sharon) who witnessed this. I had no choice but to borrow money and to pay the FULL R7000.00 to get my car back. I will say, the only person in the company who treated me like a valued client was my service advisor Sharon

If there was zero stars I would have chosen that option Ford don’t even deserve 1 star My car was send to Ford for repairs The reason I send it there because they are the manufacturer (Ford ecosport ) I thought best service they know their product I had to contact them constantly for an update on my vehicle They just had this I don’t care attitude I asked for a loan vehicle they said they don’t have any available After more than a month. I got my car back The car sounded worst than it was After a week I experienced a funny noise again I took the car back According to them it was the timing I waited about a week and half this time around They still had the attitude of oh ok you again I got my car back After about 2 weeks my car is back there as we speak I am so disappointed in Ford and their service I would not recommend anyone to take their car there for any repairs Thanks A very irritated and dissatisfied customer

I bought a brand-new 2023 Ford ranger next-gen xlt, supercab, 4x4, bi-turbo, 10 speed auto, pack 6, costing R800k from NMI Ford N1 city, Upon the first wash I found masking tape (inside the gap between door & fender), overspray, damaged bolts on fenders (been worked on) and damaged bolts on bonnet hinges (paint still semi wet & sticky after a year). We tried to get info regarding this but nothing, apparently that's how they got the bakkie from Ford factory. I've emailed the Dealer Principal Craig van den Heever but nothing. The other major issue is the headlights are extremely poor and no use at night, this should be a safety recall as I've seen several other people complaining on this matter. I've been left in the dark "literally" but it's truly sad because other than that the bakkie is amazing.

If I could give half a star I would . Went to the dealership just for a quote on a part for my car on Tuesday 19th March . Arriving there I was welcomed at the front desk of there parts department with no one in site except for there manager . I waited for about 5 minutes before the manager acknowledge me and shouted to the back for assistance at front desk . All I heard at the back was , "I'm busy ". The manager , a female , then politely went to sit down behind her desk leaving me to wait another 20 minutes before being helped . So now my question is , if the salesman was busy , cool, why could the manager not help or was it not her job ?....AS FAR AS I CONCERNED , CLOSE YOUR DOORS GUYS, if thays how clients are treated

Total disregard to clients complaints and grievances. A huge class action lawsuit against NMI Ford N1 city is in progress. Clients is fed up with their excuses. Contravention of the Consumer Protection Act and deception of their clients and loss off clients income is only a few of the grievances that will be sued for. Evidence of misconduct against NMI Ford N1 city will be presented and this time a poor written email to shrug off their responsibility to their clients to the manufacturer to get the Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa off their case is not going to work.

Worst Ford dealer om the country, they never take calls , Craig the DP never return calls to hear complaints about his useless teams service. Both parts and service center never return or take calls and receptionist always drops calls as no one answers the phone. Absolutely poor and pathetic service

Worst service ever , please don't use this branch ,it's a sister branch of NMI Tygervalley ford , Been at FORD N1 CITY CAPE TOWN October 2022 6 months ago and paid deposit and .... 1. No response from them since paying deposit or any acknowledgement in 6 months 2.no call since then 3. Quired my car status last 3 April 2023 they couldn't give me a answer REASON system was down 3 days later no response 4.asked for a test drive of the vehicle that I paid deposit for Ford raptor they said its in the workshop for software update for 3 days,which car as a 3day software update come on guys Visited another Ford branch in Claremont on the same day and my order was sorted out in 30mins And NMI Ford N1 city still getting back to me since I visited them 3 April 2023 Can u believe that I am unable to phadem ,how they are still in business Very rascist set on consultants Even manager Cariena hadn't a clue what was going on, Worst service I received from a car dealership in my many years of buying vehicles. They look at the COLOUR of SKIN to determine the LEVEL of SERVICE A CUSTOMER RECEIVES I think they keep the money to build up interest,they should be investigated, Please any1 else with this kind of service from NMI FORD N1 CITY CAPE TOWN Please share to build a profile Thanks Alli 0832426388
