I have purchased a wikideal worth of R1950 for my birthday and the I read carefully what the fine print says which states that booking has to be made 24hrs prior to the date. I have made a booking on the 11th and I have not had any confirmation and the manager is not responding via email or sending me any confirmation. The service is horrible, I have been calling and no one is helping or even responding to the email and their rules they are now coming up with are not detailed on the fine print of the wikideal. The staff and manage of fountains hotel is shocking and pretty much disgusting. PLEASE HELP

I could not sleep for the 2 nights that I was there as it is extremely noisy. The bathrooms are old and dingy. Room is very small. I got an email from them thanking me for my review, which I did not do at all,so I decided to do a review on Hellopeter.

I am so disappointed with this company. i called in to reserve 6 sits for my family to celebrate my birthday Friday the 24.02.2023 and was told to send email with my wiki deals vouchers which i did. they didn't even bother to reply on my email as they promised. I called them Saturday to check my reservation status only to be told they are full booked my table was never reserved was told to book for this weak even though i told them i called emailed then as per their instruction. What a Disappointment

****roaches in my bed, bathroom and passage of apartment. New Room that was promised never materialized. So we had to move to another hotel. Hygiene clearly a problem. Refuse collection bins at St Georges Mall entrance disgusting. Very noisy. Strange characters hanging about outside. This is clearly not a 4 star hotel.

What a dissatisfaction, disappointing and overall shockingly bad and so below average. The main entrance has a sewerage smell constantly The rooms in the 5th floor were smelly, the carpet were smelly, the cushion on the bed smelt like sweat. The TV was displayed and uncomfortable to watch. There was no sanitisers. There no (do not disturb, or clean the room) signs There was no vanity packs There was no drink water There was not enough milk everyday The bathroom vent did work There was a constant smell in the bathroom and some sound coming from the vent. The mattress didn’t fit the bed base that made it so uncomfortable. I was promised a mountain view but didn’t get that room. It was so devising. The was always shortage of food, drinks and ice, saw people coming with bought drinks and using the main restaurant’s bar to store those drinks. One of the good and remarkable person that was Mr D was amazingly helpful and so friendly to my wife in crutches. The only best thing was the morning receptionists and the security garden

<div>I arrived at the hotel at 10pm on the 14th of October for the Cape Town marathon. I was checked in and given a room. The room I was given was dirty ,somebody had been sitting and having tea in the room and left a mess there (where’s the covid protocol and guest safety concern?) ,it was a non smoking room yet the room was stinking of cigarette smoke,being a non smoker this was unbearable. I went down and waited for them to check if they had a clean room,just imagine they had to send someone to check and make sure because they themselves were unsure of their standards. I was unhappy with this room as well and asked for a refund. I was promised I would get my refund the next day and so I found alternate Accomodation Which I obviously also had to pay for. Many phone calls and emails later,I’m still begging for my money back!!! The people with any authority in this hotel don’t care and getting hold of anyone there is a nightmare. I was on a tight budget and in fact had to borrow money to pull me through to payday just because of this hotel’s incompetence and no care attitude. R2100 is a lot of money to throw away and I cannot affords that. The GM lied to me about getting refund done,however with some delay. Forward 6weeks later and I’m still waiting. My emails have been blocked and when I call,**** is never available.</div>

We went there as a group a month ago, and there was no strict policies regarding social distancing. the food was good, but they do not take cautionary measures when assisting and dishing up with the food.
