I purchased a pair of safety boots from Fram which were not the ones I wanted but was told that they were out of stock and the ones (Bova) that they had were an equivalent. I purchased the Bova boots at their advise just to find that they were nowhere close to the quality and gave me blisters on both feet within two days of wearing them. I posted my issue on the Fram website and was contacted via email from Derick Els (Regional Sales Manager), who was more taken up with the manner that I purchased them than my problem with the boots. Apparently, and unbeknown to me, the kiosk at the factory are not supposed to sell to public and since 19 October till now this all the response I get from Derick Els and nothing about how to go about swapping them out for another boot etc.. The lack of customer service has been very disappointing to the extent that I have told him to drop the issue I have as I will purchase safety boots elsewhere and donate these to the SPCA. The general lack of customer support is becoming the downfall of companies and sadly increasing rapidly due to incompetence and just plan lack of interest in the customer.
