FranklinCovey cannot quantify why they should be trusted as they are averse to transparency. They have no whistleblowers policy and handle grievances internally and secretively so that it's easy to suppress them.
While under contract with them, I rendered additional services in the good faith that I would be fairly compensated for the value I added and which they continue to benefit from. Following emails contesting their unwillingness to pay, they agreed to pay on the condition I rendered further services for free. I thanked them for wanting my work so badly but stated I wanted nothing further to do with them, simply wanting my payment.
Upon finally agreeing to pay the full amount without FC being entitled to my further services, they wanted me to sign a document that misrepresented the events leading up to this. The matter then went to attorneys, thereafter they stopped responding to communication, forcing me to make my grievance public.
Thereafter the vice-president engaged with me, following which he stated that the brand has no control over partner conduct and that the situation must be resolved locally, not through their head office.
On being forced to engage with the same people who had deprived me of my human and economic rights, I felt cheated of an internal trustworthy process and was hurt and angry. A superficial 'unreserved apology' was sent to me from the South African partner along with an offer to settle as quickly as possible. I rejected the apology and settlement offer, and upon making it clear that I wished them to negotiate and hold themselves accountable for what they did - they merely absconded from the process.
After letting the vice president know the process had not been respected, he failed to respond.
Abandoned again, I used social media to state my case publicly and requested FranklinCovey to publish their partner code of conduct so that the public is able to see what behaviour the organisation abides by across the globe. Without transparent processes, the public cannot trust that FranklinCovey deals with issues objectively and virtuously when they arise.
They refuse to publish or communicate with the public on these issues; no one from the organisation responds to posts on Linkedin, Facebook nor Twitter. This implies they hold themselves above the public and use their status to violate our trust.
I am not a slave, FranklinCovey. Trying to force me to work for free to secure your wealth, is not lawful.
