Many years ago a subcontracted technician from either Chubb or ADT (later to become National Security so excuse the confusion) arrived to fit an alarm system. He offered to fit 2 external beams as as separate deal,payment via a debit order to FREE ALARMS . I naively/foolishly agreed to this and having being paying for years. When I recently tried to cancel the debit order with ABSA I was told (as usual) that they could do nothing about it ; I must contact the company myself and sort it out. There are two cell numbers and one landline listed for this company ; none of them are in operation. I have google mapped their address which is given 230 Vasco Boulevard ,cnr Vasco and Voortrekker , Goodwood and there is no such company visible. All efforts to contact this company have been unsuccessful . I dealt with someone called Jon Taylor. If anyone can assist me or give me advice on how to proceed, I would appreciate it.

Terrible Service. I had an alarm installed 1 year ago. We now have a faulty camera and I logged the problem with Jon over a month ago. I have followed up with him numerous times and all I get is empty promises, promising to call me back and promising to come repair the problem. I'm at the end of my patience but still don't know how to rectify the problem.

Why do the Free Alarm debit order still goes off???? 31 August 2018 30 September 2018 31 Oktober 2018 It was supposed to be stopped end of August as per email received from you dated 1 March 2018.

Jon from Free Alarms was quick to sign us up for a 3year contract. But now that it's ended and I notified them to stop the debit orders he is unable to respond to any of my emails. Months of unauthorised debit orders and they just ignore me completely.

<p>Similar to the other poor reviews on this site, Free Alarms have been taking money from my account that they were not authorised to every month for a year now. When I try to get information on what it is for, I either can't get hold of the people, receive no response or get a blank email with just what they have charged me - not what for or where I authorised it. I tried to block it at the bank, but they change the debit order date and ref number each time to get around this. MY ADVISE IS STAY AWAY!</p>

<p>Jon Taylor is very quick to sign contracts but when issues arise he is never available, does not answer calls or return calls or e mails. Installations seems to be done by youngsters that has no clue what they doing because at both houses we were experiencing problems with installation. Jon nowhere to be found. Debit order amounts are being amended without notification, when asked for e mail that Jon claims he sent I am still waiting. Still sitting with a zone that is a problem but only to be informed I'm gonna be charged as my services contracted ended end of August 2016 and complaint was logged the whole of July. I will go out of my way to warn people about Free Alarms. Even the so called owner Zak Kassim does not care to answer calls, sms's or emails. Worst security company to ever deal with!!!!!</p>
