After encountering some concerning issues with my Renault Sandero (engine warning light, unusual noises, and performance problems), I brought my vehicle to Wendy and her team. What impressed me most was their immediate, professional response and commitment to making things right. What They Did: Comprehensive diagnosis of multiple engine systems Complete timing chain and tensioner replacement Turbocharger replacement Full oil system service with correct specifications New gaskets and seals Thorough testing before return What Made Them Stand Out: 1. Efficient Service: Despite the complexity of the repairs, they worked efficiently and had my vehicle back on the road quickly. The Result: My Sandero is running beautifully now. The engine warning light is off, the unusual noises are gone, and the car drives smoothly and quietly. I have complete confidence that the work was done properly. Took my car in for a service at French Car Connection in Strand and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I booked, Wendy kept me updated throughout the entire process — something that really stood out. 39 Clarendon Rd, Gants Plaza, Cape Town, 7140. Lack of competence and Very Very unreliable! NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!!!!!Rating -200 I bought a gearbox for my Reault and they fit the gearbox in my car. The gwarbox wasn't for that specific Renault ( fault of the seller) but French car Strand DID NOT inform me. They added an additional part to gear box without informing me. Since then car every day had a problem with gearbox related parts such as drive shaft and eventually a new gearbox failed! Only because French car Strand DID NOT bother to give me a call and tell me this gearbox is not fit for our car. I could easily return the gearbox to the gearbox seller and replace it with the proper gear box fit with my car. So not calling me, not spending 5 Zar airtime and lack of responsibility cost me 30000 zar money.
