Wow! What exceptional service. As an insomniac - I do my best shopping online and at ridiculous hours. I placed my order at 00.38 last night and by 8:30 this morning my order was delivered. Meals are always delicious and so convenient.

I have had a couple of the frozen meals and the food is really good. This morning I decided to order online for the first time and enough for the week, which was delivered within 3 hours! Driver was super friendly. Good food, good service, definitely recommend!

The first time we ordered they got some of our orders wrong. Mailed them twice, no response. Left it there as the food was ok. We ordered again, we needed convenience food after an operation I had. Quality has declined, tastes like mass produced food. For example the roast potatoes were so full of water you cld squeeze the water! Even after airfrying jst terrible. The chicken stew was also very watery and chicken was tough. I could continue like this with most of the meals we ordered. A real dissapointment, considering the food is not cheap.

I took a turn to Frozen for you, i was so excited at the beautiful layout, packaging and facebook reviews about their products. I spent just shy of R40000 on what looked like amazing meals for my family for the nights we work late. Do not waste your money or time. Just to give you an idea, the 2 types of butter chicken (mild and hotter option) firstly had no flavor past the ridiculous amount of coriander swimming in what can only be explained as milky water, the chicken was so tough that after 2 or 3 s****s your jaw simply can not take any more. Ok, 2 bad meals, moved onto Asian chicken strips, well if the curry was bad this will leave you in disbelief, the breading if you can call it that does not stick to the chicken, you could not eat said strips without a steak knife. Please don't get me started on the "slow roasted"lamb. My family refuses to eat anything else i have purchased stating a sandwich is much better. Frozen for you-if you put half as much effort into what you made and less time on fancy shop layouts and packaging to fool people you would probably have had a loyal customer, but what i wasted a months grocery money on was nothing short of disgraceful.

Very easy to hop on here and give businesses a hard time when they gets things wrong, but equally important to praise them when they get it right. Frozen for you certainly does this! Food is of an exceptional quality, delivery is particularly good, if you order early in the day you might get it that day, but will definetley arrive the next day. Easy to plan around and just generally makes life that much easier. A happy loyal customer.

Having had excellent meals from Frozen For You in the past, I was very disappointed with a rather expensive dish I bought in December for a special occasion. I purchased a large 3.44 kg 8-10 person chicken lasagne, but try as we could, none of us could find a single sheet of pasta anywhere in the dish. The result was a sloppy mess on the plates as the lasagne had no form/structure, so it was not possible to cut it into neat servings. When I complained about this via email, I received a response that the matter was investigated thoroughly and "It was found that the 3.44kg Chicken Lasagne contains only 2 lasagne sheets, which are barely visible due to the size of the dish. In contrast, the 430g, 860g, and 1.72kg sizes also contain only 2 lasagne sheets, but because of their smaller size, the sheets are more visible and add more structure to the dish. The size of the lasagne sheets used in all the different sizes of the Chicken Lasagne is the same. I hope this clarifies the situation and may help alleviate some of your disappointment or at least shed some light on future purchases. We truly appreciate your understanding." Well, this pathetic explanation did nothing to alleviate our disappointment and is not an acceptable explanation at all. Why would you use the same number of pasta sheets in a 3.44 kg as you'd use in a 430 g dish?? That is not a reasonable explanation. As I mentioned before, none of our party could find evidence of any pasta sheets at all in the dish. Despite initially offering to replace the meal, after the so called investigation done, there was no further communication from Frozen For You and they clearly think that the above explanation is good enough and exonerates them. I will no longer be buying food from Frozen For You after this experience. Their food is very tasty, but is NOT cheap, so if this is how they treat their customers when there is a genuine complaint, they don't deserve my patronage.
