Warning - be VERY careful in dealing with gadgetfusion
Be very careful in dealing with this business - they get you to pay in full for the item you want (they sell camera equipment) - but after paying you never receive the item - they do send a tracking link (with sccouriers.com) - but that also looks **** - they have all kinds of excuses for the non delivery - then they promise a refund - also that never happens - they are full of lies deceit - the company website looks legit and the sales process runs quite smoothly - but from there it goes bad - suspect they are working together with sccouriers.com - both companies pretend to be in Robertson - don't think that is the case - on top of this they almost never answer the phone (fixed line numbers as on the websites) - very hard to get hold of them - terrible experience overall - and so far did not get my money back

*****ulent company - don't do business with them - ****sters! Working together with sccouriers.com - all part of the same *****ulent scheme. They get you to pay - but purchased items are NEVER delivered - watch out - huge trap!!!

Gadget Fusion Suspicious Activity
Review for Gadget Fusion: I recently encountered a listing by Gadget Fusion on Gumtree that has led me to serious concerns about their legitimacy. Initially, the deal seemed promising, but several red flags have since emerged. They requested a R3240 deposit for transporting items, with R1500 supposedly refundable, which already felt unusual. My suspicions grew when they abruptly stopped communicating after I suggested sending someone to inspect the items in person. Upon further investigation, I found their business practices to be highly questionable: Their website, www.gadgetfusion.co.za, was only registered on 2024-01-26, which is incredibly recent for a supposedly reputable business. The address they claim to operate from is falsely represented and actually belongs to a different business. Their contact information is inconsistent, with a Cape Town phone number but claims of an office in Robertson and stock in North Riding, Johannesburg. The complete lack of response when requested for an in-person inspection raises doubts about the existence of the advertised items. Given these concerns, I believe this listing and the business behind it may be part of a **** intended to de***** customers. I strongly urge potential buyers to exercise caution and recommend that Hallo Piet reviews and potentially removes their listings to protect its users from potential *****. Please take this report seriously, as it aims to prevent others from falling victim to what appears to be a sophisticated **** operation.
