I just want to thank them for paying my outstanding claims. The claims were paid without problems. I previously had other Gap cover and they always had an excuse to pay

Good day, I had a procedure on my back on 26 March 2025. I submitted 2 claims that were not fully covered by my medical aid. I submitted the claim on 22/04/2025 and again on 20/5/2025. I was assured that the claim had been approved. I then received a letter of repudiation on 16/7/25, saying that they do not pay if the medical aid has not paid anything. That is incorrect as the medical aid paid a portion to the doctor leaving me with R1432.10 that I must pay. The second claim to a different doctor was submitted on 19/05/25 R3567.52. The gap Administrator put the claim in for R2207.71 and paid R1379.81 into my bank account on 28/7/2025 leaving a balance of R2187.71 for me to pay. I also received an e mail from the Gap Administrator to say the claim had been approved. According to my gap cover when they receive a claim it is processed and paid within 5 working days. As you can see this took weeks before I heard that the first claim was repudiated and the second claim from May to July to pay out a portion. The gap Administrator also confessed that she forgot to process the second claim. I was **** to. Promising they were going to pay within a week. When I queried it she then said they had a problem with their system. The only income I receive is SASSA and I really cannot pay off this amount of R1432.10 and R2187.71. I have all the e nails and documents if you so wish to see. I will definitely not recommend anyone to take out gap cover with Agility

Total Risk Assessment GAP COVER is probably one of the worst products on the market. First of all, they hardly ever pay for anything. Secondly, if I try to claim, the information submitted is misinterpreted or simply ignored. It's extremely time consuming to get someone to understand what the claim entails. I get the impression they don't even try to process any claim before denying it. Thirdly, if I complain about something or query something, all I get is an automated response and no follow-up. And then they have the audacity to increase premiums by 20% for 2025.

On 17 Jan 2025 I send claim form plus all docs needed to claim money after I had to partly-pay for daughter's treatment for removing of her wisdom teeth to stratum. I enquiry regularly with them and my agent, Gideon. On the 28th Jan 2025 they said the claim is now at the assesing department/stage. On the 31 Jan I received another e-mail stating that they did not receive any claims for 2025 from me. So how is it possible? When phoning them, they can't hear you on there side. 2025, just an excuse. I'm struggling and for me as single parent R4340 is alot of money. Shall be glad if you can assit me please.

I would like to recommend, Caleb Ornellas (Independent Healthcare Advisor). from Medway Gap Cover He was able to use his extensive knowledge to help me. He was so professional, efficient and an absolute pleasure to deal with, what a breath of fresh air. Nothing was too much trouble. I will highly recommend him to my friends and acquittance. With employees like Caleb on your staff role, I am sure that Medway will go from strength to strength. Regards Maria & Rod Hamilton

Please tell me... how can medical aids possibly keep their fees low when private doctors and hospitals charge 300 - 500% above scale of benefits. So you pay medical aid fees to cover in hospital and doctor charges, then you pay gap cover for out of scale hospital and doctor charges and then you pay whatever is not covered by medical aid or gap cover. Maybe its the coffee in these hotel hospitals that get you through your condition because it seems without extra cash the medical service alone won't.
