In the first place i struggled to get the technician out to the property for two whole weeks.. when eventually arrived at the property he fixed the v-belt on my gate motor with a piece of wire! And charging me for a new one, very next day the gate was not operational anymore.. struggling to get them back out again. After that the owner of business calls and says that we (property owners) fixed the motor ourselves and that the work that was done, can not be from his company! We paid the first invoice thinking the problem was solved.. so end of the day we paid for no service what so ever

Call-outs 3 times for same problem over 6 months. They completely missed what the problem was and insisted I pay for the third fallout. Will never use them again. Also typical defensive attitude which is so unprofessional

I called, 2 hours later they're here to fix the motor, then i changed my mind and asked them to replace the motor and 2 hours later he's back to replace. He even welded a piece of the gate runner that was broken. I'm dumb struck by the great service. Gate Repair Services has walked a few extra miles for me today. Thank you so much! And Zach, you're the best, thank you!

I called, 2 hours later they're here to fix the motor, then i changed my mind and asked them to replace the motor and 2 hours later he's back to replace. He even welded a piece of the gate runner that was broken. I'm dumb struck by the great service. Gate Repair Services has walked a few extra miles for me today. Thank you so much! the most unproffesional vompany called rescue gate motor services qwick to take your money but dont complete the work three weeks gone by my gate motor is still not fixed properly i recommend that you be carefull before appointing them to fix your gate motor

WORST service ever received from this company. My PC board was replaced at the beginning of March so not even 2 months ago, since then I have had 2 issues with my gate. The receiver stopped working due to the recklessness of the technician and it opens and closes by itself which is most likely a limit switch issue from the PC board. not even 2 months later and every excuse under the sun not to live up to the warranty of my PC board, they say it probably needs replacing yet again because of power surges or lighting. firstly there has been no lighting and secondly if it was a power surge then more stuff around my house would have issues not just the gate. they want to charge a call out fee to fix what they broke and check the PC board to see if it is faulty or not.... the tech left my receiver uncovered when he was here, he left the new PC board not correctly attached and box not closed fully and needless to say my receiver got wet and stopped working. Technician denies it all (obviously) and this company believes the customer is NEVER right and the technicians word is gold. of COURSE he is going to deny it. who would admit they did something wrong if your job was on the line.... Don't ever use them

On 27.02.2022 I contacted them via email in order to arrange for my gate and its geared rack to be replaced. They were very quick, albeit it on the pricier side. Things started going wrong when they had wanted to charge me R920 for a geared rack - which was only worth 590 (retail price). I then supplied my own 4m Centurion Nylon Raz Rack. I even had it delivered to Sean Hitchings at their office in Bryanston. Their installers then installed it incorrectly on 03.03.2022 - by placing the geared rack too close to the cog of the Centurion gate motor. When confronting their office manager, Zach Mahumani, about this, he at first wanted to blame Centurion Systems for supplying inferior products. Eventually - after having had to pay another gate installer to prove that Automated Gate Repair Services CC (www.gates.co.za) had done the installation incorrectly - Zach and Sean acceded. And then sent another technician out to redo the initial installation.

I traded in a faulty Hansa Gate PCB for a reconditioned one which worked fine for about 3 weeks, then we opened the gate no problem but it would not close. On investigation we found the reconditioned PCB blown up. I sent photos to Gate Repair Services Simon said that warranty does not cover lightning or surge damage and he would: "I will certainly send you a damage report for your insurance". After at least 5 reminders to let me have the damage report, which all got ignored, I decided to lodge this complaint.

All, The good first. Logged a call for them to come and look at my maglock on my driveway gate not working. Technician was here same day - and identified that I need a new maglock. Returned the next day with the part - R3 500. I stopped him, and stared phoning around for the price of that part. Almost anywhere I could get it for half that price. I am very willing to pay for installation - but a 100% markup on parts that I can find retail for half the price does not make sense. Send the technician packing - I have paid the call-out fee, but I am not paying 100% markup on parts....
