We were working with an important client to get his shopping center off the grid using a solar installation and a diesel generator. In our search for a generator supplier, we discovered Genset SA and reached out to them with our product needs. Everything seemed fine. They communicated with both of our directors via email and WhatsApp, providing a quote and organizing for the installation. However, when the day of installation arrived, their communication suddenly fell silent, and we became suspicious. It didn't take long before we realized that this company is, in fact, a ******** enterprise that is taking people's money and running. They put on a good show to lure you in, even maintaining a website with a **** catalogue of products. In reality, the company doesn't physically exist. We went to the supp**** address once we realized what had happened, and sure enough, it was an empty space. Do not order from these people. They'll put on enough of a show to make you think they're legit, and then once you've paid the deposit for the product, they're gone. This was June/July 2025.

A few months back I wrote a report on the terrible and rip-off experience I had installing Solar with Genset and the company MLT they use for Inverters. My system was struck by lighting. I had to redo my entire system. I contacted EcoElite the owner Phillip Pieterse come out and did a very intensive audit on my electrical usage. He then designed a system according to those needs. The exact thing I asked Genset to do and which they never did and couldn't get right. EcoElite got the contract and they installed my new system. Phillip is a brilliant installer and won't let the smallest thing get away. He did a conversion on my generator which the company that supplies those generators said was not possible. My system is up and running and I'm extremely happy with it. EcoElite deserves more that 5 stars. Quality, Understanding, Work Ethics, Delivery and the list goes on. Brilliant stuff well done EcoElite. I'm one static customer.

Good Morning All, I'm back with more information. Let me get the structure right otherwise I will be sued. MLT Drives was established back in 1986, then split into MLT Power and Inverters. This is according to their Company Structure on their web page. They can be contacted on info@mltpower.com, which is the same email address I have been using from the start. Here is my position: 1) The company given as one of the preferred installers of the MLT Products, as stated in the above communications, is not. I contacted the company, the sales person I spoke to stated that he had been with the company for over 6 months and had never installed one of the MLT Products and secondly, are 140km away. Therefore how does this company state it has unmatched support, which puts them in a unique position as indicated on their website under "OUR VALUES". There's no support. I think the gentleman above just pushed the google button and that company was the first company that came up on his search, or, as indicated in my opinion, MLT is protecting Genset's business in the Hilton and PMB Area. 2) Please people in the PMB and Hilton Area, contact me and I will come and see you personally about my experience with Genset and MLT. I have to push the reset button and start all over again. I don't want anybody else to make the same very expensive mistake I made. 3) Oh yes, coming back to this "unmatched support". Not once did the gentleman in the communication contact me to find out if I had been sorted out by his recommendation. What a joke.
