Bad treatment by germiston spca

I so discussed my neighbor lost his dog a little toy pom. He has had this dog for 15 years, the dog is old deaf and blind. He has not stopped looking. Some stupid person found the dog and took it to germiston spca we live in boksburg. They posted a picture to adopt the dog he responded straight away, he went there with all the papers etc to prove its his dog. They said he must adopt the dog for R900. 00. They obviously don't have enough animals that they are so heartless. He paid the deposit of R250. 00 and now is waiting for a home check. This little dog is locked in a cage with no roof going through the storms etc. They give her pellets witch she can't eat as her teeth are not so good anymore. This really breaks my heart. Why is this not done in a better way its his dog for 15 years and now the little dog Maddy is suffering. Discussing!
