FRAUDSTER

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT use this man's services, he is a FRAUDSTER. I got stuck next to the road on the 30th of December with a CV joint that came loose. After reading his reviews and the worst decision ever I got hold of Claude who sent out his "mechanics" to assist. They checked and said they had to go get bolts at the workshop and they can just fasten it. After taking 6 hours to "fasten" my CV joint they said my car is fine and I will reach Joburg and drive with it well after that. I was told by Claude it will cost R1500 for the job, I will have to follow his mechanics to an ATM to draw the money. When following these people I could feel that this job was not done properly as my car shook and rattled and shuddered. Stopping at atm I told the "mechanic" that this car is not right, he started blaming everything from wheel alignment to steering rack. I drew R1000 and said to them that I will not pay any more because this job I will have to have redone the next town over. Claude sent me a message saying "do you really think you can run away with my money *****". Needless to say, I did not get 2km further that I initially got stuck at when the cv came loose again. This time there was horrible noise and a big puddle of gearbox fluid under my car. Claude himself came out to check and said it's because I tried swindeling him out of his money that this happened. He said he will have to replace the cv inner and outer together with the shaft. Towed my car to his house w(his mechanics helped themselves to the cigarettes in my car) arranged with a friend in his complex for me for accommodation while he fixes my car properly. The car stood for 9 full days while he was "looking" for cv joints for my car. Still staying at his friends place he also started realizing that nothing is happening by claude and it is all empty promises. He phoned his brother in law who came to fetch my car on a trailer and took it to his workshop. Koos got cv's the next day and no shaft was needed but he phoned and said there is a big hole in my gearbox so now I had a bigger problem. Claude went to that workshop and checked as I was expecting him to pay for the damage to the gearbox which he gave me plenty stories why it is not his fault. Told me I needed a new gearbox. Was busy "looking" for one just like the cv's and I eventually had to again help myself as it was day 13 already being stuck in Beaufort. I got to Gavin Rule at GP AUTO AND TOWING who came to fetch me by Claude's friend and took me to his house with his wife and they accommodated me while Gavin sorted out my gearbox and cv and got me back on the road with no further issues. Claude says on his website his "mechanics" are qualified. THEY ARE NOT, they are family members who he is helping out and by Claude's own admission they are TIK users. The DRIVER knows more about cars than the so called "mechanic". My whole stay in Beaufort and everyone I spoke to said that unfortunately I have run into the most dishonest and fraudulent person IN THE WHOLE OF BEAUFORT and that Claude has been locked up several times for fraud. I can see why. This man will cost you money and leave you with a bigger problem than you initially had. I had to give 1 star but would minus a lot if I could. This guy does not even have a workshop, he works from his house. #carteblanche
